just wanna ask ….Can we still use al-rajhi debit card to withdraw money from paypal?
If yes, which type of al rajhi account should we open in order to use the paypal service.

Dillon, Hana & Azam,

For setting up an account with paypal you’ll need a credit cards as if you’re purchasing online.

Withdrawal you’ll need a debit card. The debit cards will allow you to have withdrawal.

So in order for you to use the al rajhi card as your main card is not posible. You’ll need 2 cards -

1. Credit Card.
2. Debit Visa Card.

thats difficult to answer..
i just follow the normal procedure…and no problem happen.
maybe your address or name at paypal & al-rajhi account was different.

i hv the same problem as Dillon. I called Al Rajhi to clarify. It seems for any Paypal transactions, a CREDIT CARD is required BUT for Withdrawals A DEBIT CARD is sufficient.

BUT how did you manage to use ur Debit Card for PyPal transactions? Mine didn’t get thru their verification.

al-rajhi only charge you rm1 one time. no rm1 charge for the next withdrawal. i also face the same delay problem a couple of time but until today, no problem and all withdrawal has been cleared.

in my opinion, it is better for you to contact paypal rather than al-rajhi because sometime you might get customer support that know nothing about paypal and they will give you stupid answer..hehehe

I did 4 transactions to withdraw money from paypal to alrajhi debit but only one recorded to be awaiting and finally cleared in to my bank account. another 3 no records at all on the alrajhi online statement .no 1 ringgit amount yet been debited from my account for each transaction except for the first one . I emailed paypal for explaination and they asked me to wait for 14 days before anything can be done.

hopefully everything ok because im waiting for USD 1000 to be cleared to alrajhi account . sigh

every month we celebrate our paypal withdrawal. the latest one was on early february however at this moment, we celebrate the arrival of our first child first!..oh yeah!

i never try it. but i believe that we can verify paypal account and funding to paypal because al-rajhi card have visa logo on it.
