Invitation to climb Gunung Pulai with us
When Azman and I began courting in 2001, he used to tell me about his childhood experience that was really fun but very peculiar and spooky. Like the mysterious balls of fire that can be seen flying from space to the top of the Gunung Pulai behind his house. And how great many sea shells can be found in one of the caves on the mountain, although it was way too far from the nearest sea. And there were natural limestone statues in shape of a King, Queen, Princess and mystical animals but now the King was gone, suspected as a kidnap victim of a Hindu temple!
Perhaps Azman thought mystery tales could help to mengorat me. But honestly, what kind of girl would wanna listen to ghost story?!..please…. Didn’t he know that what I would only be captivated by FART STORIES!?

Anyway Azman and I am planning to hike Gunung Pulai, Baling, Kedah during the coming Chinese New Year Holidays. It is a beautiful limestone hill that would take about 3-4 hours to scale to the top. In fact it has been listed as one of the top mountains to be conquered in Malaysia.
We will have a guide to lead us through and when we have climbed down from the mountain (safely I hope), lets take a refreshing dip at the Ulu Legong Hot Springs! Hey I think its gonna be quite fun!
