Last night we all went to bed very early. I set the alarm clock at 6.30am. We have planned to go jogging at the park near our house, then have quick breakfast before we to work and Miki goes to school.
Why the sudden health and fitness awareness you may wonder. Tiba-tiba bangun awal nak jogging bagai dengan semangat yang membara.. fuh dasyat! Well, no, I have not gone fat. I am still less than 50 kilos in weight with BMI pathetically 18. Azman also still the same, a few kilos heavier than the days went we got married but looking not bad at all especially if you consider his age of 37.
Rafa still hardly walks.
It is Abang Miki. He needs fitness training because my baby boo is joining the GIANT KIDS RUN 2013! Yay! How cool is that right?It is happening on 16 September 2013 at Metropolitan Park, Kepong.
However we woke up this morning to a pouring rain. And Miki was deeply dissapointed.
He is actually very excited and he is so inspired to win the run! It is not that we don’t believe in our little boy, but honestly we did tell him once or twice to not keep the hopes up too high. We know Miki is strong and he runs very fast but this is his first run! For 760 m! OMG!!!
ps – actually 760 meters is like so cute I want to just give those kids a gomoi anytime! haha
He is competing in the 4-6 years old category. If I am not mistaken first prize winner is RM500 or something. Obviously Miki doesn’t really understand how much that it but he knows it is a lot of money.
I told Miki the other day, it is okay if he doesn’t win first place. All he needs to do is run to the finishing line and he will get a medal. That is already excellent and Mummy and Daddy and Rafa and his teachers at school will be very proud of him.
“Tapi Miki nak duit!” he replied adamantly. For what? I asked.
He said he wants the money to pay for his trip to climb Mount Kinabalu like Mummy and Daddy did. He said he remembers we told him it is expensive to go Sabah and pay for all expenses in the mountain climbing trip and he wants to collect the money for the trip himself.
Oh boy…. If Miki wins a prize in the Giant Kids Run 2013, we will be very proud. If he doesn’t win, or if he is unable to even finish the run, we will still be very-very proud. Because our boy is so wise and determined in helping Mummy Daddy raise some money.
O Miki, if you prove that you are worthy, and if you are doing it for a good cause, Mummy and Daddy will fly you to the moon and back baby! Explore your talent and your passion, we will support you all we can. Because we love you like no one else can! Muax!
