While Azman and I was clearing Miki’s room where the messiness never ends, in fact the clutter seems to magically appear out of this air each time Rafa enters the room; I saw this bunch of plastic Furbies arranged on the shelf.
I said, ” Hey Miki, ni jaga tau… Furby ni sayang tau… Dulu masa Mummy baru lepas sekolah, masa Mummy 17 years old, Mummy kerja McDonalds! Masa tu la Mummy beli collection Furby ni… Ni sayang wooo ni….”
Miki replied; ” Mummy. Miki dan dengar cerita ni one hundred times! OK! Mummy dah bagitau Miki Mummy kerja McDonalds one hundred times! Please!”
Mummy terkesima. Azman looked at me and said dengan pasrahnya, “Kita dah ada syndrom orang tua, Diyana… kita asyik cerita benda yang sama..”.
OK Miki… fine! No Ipad for you…. Not for a hundred yearsssssss!!! Lalala… I am still the boss around here…
PS – I worked for 2 or 3 months at McDonalds in Bukit Jambul Complex, Penang after SPM with with friends Annahita and Julia. Sweet memories 🙂
