The Amazing Legoland Malaysia Resort – Legoland Hotel Review

Oh gosh I have so much to tell in this blog! Miki and Rafa has not been so well so I didn’t have time to write but hey I am back and today I would like to review the Legoland Hotel. Now that it is the school holidays, I am sure many fellow Moms and Dads out there are looking for nice places to bring their kids, and this ladies and gentlemen, is definitely a MUST-GO in Malaysia!

Couple of weeks ago we were invited by those nice people at Paddlepop and Legoland for an all-expenses paid to Miki and Rafa’s heaven! The Legoland Malaysia Resort in Nusajaya Johor.

All four of us joined other bloggers and media on a bus from KL all the way to Johor one Friday morning… It was a lot of fun for Miki and of course Rafa, even before he reached the theme park, the bus is already an exciting ride to him. haha!

This pic of Rafa was taken when we stop at an R&R for lunch, somewhere in Malacca.. And after 5 hours later, we arrived in the Legoland Malaysia Resort! Yay!

This was our first time staying in Legoland Hotel although we have been to the theme park last year. Once we stepped our foot in the hotel lobby, Miki eyes went bright and wide and he said “Woooww…. Mummy look!”

Haha! It was very impressive! This hotel definitely can turn your kids crazy…  Upon entering the lobby, you can see a huge Lego pirate ship on the left and a very cute medieval castle complete with Lego guards.

Surrounding the ship and and the castle were loads and loads of Lego, for all the kids (and adults) to play. Rafa played and played and didn’t wanna move away.

Miki as usual made a new friend after 5 minutes. These two boys made Lego swords and started a friendly battle. Cute!

While the kids were playing, I was checking in at the reception. See 4 people were attending to me. Their service was friendly and fast. Thumbs up! The entire reception was again everything Lego and cute! Behind the check-in desk there were 12,528 Lego Mini Figures on display! So pretty!

We got a Premium Adventure Theme Room! Yay! The room is so lovely! We totally love it! It felt like we stayed in our own private cabin.  All Premium themed rooms have extra theming and LEGO features and include:

a) Room that can sleep up to 5 persons (Maximum 3 Adults per room)
b) King size bed
c) High-definition flat panel television
d) Kids’ own sleeping area with bunk bed, pull out trundle bed and entertainment unit (sleeps up to 3)
e) Treasure hunt
f) LEGO bricks to build with during your stay ( a huge box of them)
g) Air conditioning
h) Mini-fridge
i) Vanity/work station
j) Hairdryer
k) Complimentary toiletries

Since it was the Adventure room, everything is decorated based on LEGO® hero adventurer, Johnny Thunder.

All deco items were made of elaborate Lego sculptures and Miki was so very happy to be see a double decker bed in the room. He had always wanted one but at home he already had a nice single bed to sleep in. There was also Treasure Hunt in the room but we didn’t stay in the room long enough to do it! Rugi.. haha..

There was a Lego spider and Lego Scorpion in the bathroom. Rafa faked a fright by screaming so gedik-ly! haha

After we settled in our room, freshen up etc. We were invited to watch the premier of When Santa Got Stuck In The Chimney at the all-new fully-covered and air-conditioned Legoland City Stage. There were so many nice pics, so I guess I will write a different entry for this one later…

After the show we went for dinner. The Legoland Hotel has three restaurants, The Bricks Family Restaurant, Di Mattoni Restaurant ( Italian Restaurant) and The Skyline Bar.

After dinner, instead of going up straight to our room, we let the kids roam the many facilities around the hotel. We didn’t have time to check out the pool or played with thee Treasure Hunt but Miki and Rafa had tonnes of fun at ground floor of the hotel.

In fact there were over 100,000 Lego bricks all over to play with.

On Friday night, they spread huge comfy mat on the carpet at one area on ground floor and call all the kids to come over because it is MOVIE TIME!

Gulliver’s Travels starring Jack Black was playing and Miki loved this movie but he was too distracted with all the Legos.

And then he went to kacau a Singaporean boy with his own building. Naughty sangat Rafa but he was too cute nobody was crossed with him haha…

I am very pleased with all these facilities, games and activities that the hotel are provided. It is truly an amazing experience for my kids.

The Legoland Hotel not only have different theme at every floor but even the elevators are themed so very nicely. Here we were in the disco elevator and Rafa and Miki so gedik they danced and danced in it.. ehehe!

After all the playing… (Miki and Rafa would never want to stop but Mummy got tired lah!), off we went to bed with Johnny Thunder watching over us.:)

The next morning, we went to breakfast at The Bricks Family Restaurant. Rafa was excited all the way and he was the first to enter the restaurant. One of the crews saw him, took him by the hand all the way to our table and even carried him onto his baby chair. Very friendly  service! Thumbs up!

This is the nice Mr Waiter! Thank you for welcoming naughty little Rafa until he was happy enough to sit quietly in his chair. 🙂

Over all, I must say that we are very pleased with the Legoland Hotel. All the staff were friendly and nice. Good food, very clean and comfortable room, just nice for our two kids.

They are very creative in making a stay at this hotel a memorable one. Thumbs up again! So come on guys, let’s go to Legoland!

  1. Ah, I need to take Isaac there soon. Pity my boy. School holiday tapi tak pergi mana-mana. Wonder if they still have (affordable) room for Christmas.
