Nevertheless I have so many good memories to jot down, so let me try to write them down slowly ok! Let’s start with the last weekend. We went back to Kedah and Penang and had a jolly good time. The main reason for the balik kampung trip is Miki’s Cik Nas and Cik Abi is back from Germany! Hooray!!

As usual, balik kampung means excessive eating and this time we makan-makan-makan so much food especially durian until Azman got a slight fever and myself is still annoyed with sore throat.

On Saturday, we went shopping with Opah and Miki’s cousin Sarah. Mission is to buy 1st birthday presents another cousin of Miki! My eldest sister’s son, Naufal! He is the littlest baby in the family and Miki is dead jealous of him! Dalam jealous-jealous tu he picked up a toy car/shapes sorter as a present for Naufal.

We went tu Sunshine Square is Bayan Baru, a huge departmental store that I always go with my mom when I was schooling many-many years ago. Sighh.. The place has gotten bigger and everything was on cheap sale! I think I bought about 5 shirts for Naufal and a jumper too. In case Miki got upset that the birthday party was not his, I bought him a shirt too. Who knows we might need a dummy birthday present for him. Sighh talk about Miki being spoilt eh?

Anyway it was a nice little party, Naufal is so cute and smart, he is always smiling and clapping his hands, doing the actions to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star etc.

Miki and Sarah. They have love-hate relationship. They are forever fighting and competing with each other.

After the party we all including my Mom went to a futsal pitch nearby. We didn’t play lah haha! Only the guys play including an Orang Putih aka Abi. Abi brought his friends over so there were more than 10 people else confirm semput la kan main sikit orang.LOL.

The three little boys on the right corner of the pics are my nephews Adam, Arash and Hariz. Mereka ini sangat kecik tapi tak berapa sedar diri nak join orang besar! LOL..

I have been having such a blast on the holidays it seem to me like I have forgotten how to blog! Amazing! Must be all the yummy food!

I have so many pics in this entry for heartwarming recollection in the years to come. These are taken on the first day of raya in Penang.

As usual Azman and I have never had any dilemmas in regards to “balik kampong” because ours are only about 1 hour apart. This year, Ist Raya was spent at my Mom’s but we headed for Kedah later in the afternoon for preparation of Azman’s little sister’s engagement on the next day.

I rarely do this but below is my family pic with only 50% of the members available. That’s my  eldest sister, Eyza, in blue, holding her newborn baby with her husband Eone. Standing is my lil sister Shanana with Eyza’s daughters Nurin and Sofiya. That’s my Mom in purple and Malaysia’s own Nicole Scherzinger with her family in green. Vomit blood sekawah! muahaha

Eyza delivered Muhammad Irfan Naufal just 30 days ago so that makes her still dalam pantang (in confinement) which explains her paleness and extra gebuness. If it wasn’t for the confinement memang dia lah yg paling cun bak As Feminine di zaman Angin bayuuuu membawa dirikuuuu… gitu!

People often say Azman looks like Ako Mustafa and Abg Eone looks like Farid Kamil. Abis tu Miki??? I really wish we cuould have taken a pic with everybody, missing in this pic is my second sister Leah and her family and my only brother, Dodi and his family. Hmm.. maybe next time.

This is the best pic of the three of us.It could have been nice if Miki wasn’t meroyaning and my hair wasn’t LionKinging and Azman’s songkok wasn’t sengeting.  Ahhh gasaklah! Janji ada although I did brush my hair in the morning using a proper  BRUSH instead of my fingers but prior to the photography sessions, Miki and I was doing this:-

Miki as he has always been never have a problem with wearing any clothes that we ask him to. The songkok did bother him a lil bit but my handsome 2 year 7 mo old chikadee was clad in complete baju melayu and samping all day looking so smart muah muah cayang dia!

Azman and I love Hari Raya. It always gives us this wonderful fuzzy feeling inside our tummy. eh wait… or was it the Chicken Rendang?! Anyway…. we had such a blast balik kampung this year. I will update more later. Enjoy!

I don’t think you know why you and Mummy sang the Happy Birthday Song to Daddy last night. Although you sang so loudly and merrily with all your heart, you jumped with joy and you danced the Spongebob dance! Still you ended the song with “Happy Birthday untuk Mikiiiiiiii” *pengsan*

Today Daddy turns 34, Miki! Our Big Boss of the house is celebrating his birthday. When Mummy asked what he wants for his birthday, he said all he wants is all that he has!

Let’s wish his all over again ok Miki, say

“Happy Birthday Daddy! Mummy and Miki loves you very much and we cannot live without you! May Allah swt bless you and our family always, so that we can always be together, forever!”

All of us had done our time together at The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology (FCSIT), Universiti Malaya some eight years ago! haha and still great friends today.

I am meeting these babes tonight for the formal Alipth’s Wedding Invitation Card Handing Over Ceremony at Bangsar. I am so excited and I just cannot believe ko dah nak kawin nyah!!! Mak terharu skals! Menitis air mata ni nok…

One thing that can always make a lady smile. One thing that can always make her spirits high. Is something so pure and strictly simple. They are the marvel from our nature, the splendor of magic in a thing called flowers.

Be it a bouquet of exotic orchids, which is glorious and cost a fortune, or a garland of lilies, that is so delicate and yet so stunning, or a single hibiscus that her son picks from the garden, soon wither and fade but never in her heart. A flower gathers happiness around. Its bloom brings joy and spread love like petals in the wind.

Today I receive a dozen roses. So beautiful they are, so red with passion. You might not know what it meant to me, but these roses fill my heart with so much glee.

Thank you, Azman.. I am so happy!

Whenever I felt down at that time, I would cross the road to Subang Parade. And I would shop. I didn’t earn very much back then but nevertheless I would just buy a pretty thing (s) for myself and instantly my body temperature would rise from that of an amphibian to that of an Angelina Jolie.

SHOPPING MAKES ME HAPPY!

Who doesn’t agree with me needs to get her/his head checked. Must be tumor or saka. Of a very depressed hantu raya.

Last Sunday I felt the euphoria again. I was not feeling bad at all in fact I was feeling good. But I came across some fliers in my mail box and one of them is an advertisement of a lights shop. So I dragged my two favorite boys there and spent just half an hour but damaging enough to Azman’s pocket that I picked up five items in one go.

AND IT MAKES ME SO HAPPY!

Happier than buying shoes, happier than buying bags. I am a makcik. I buy household items not beauty items. Next I am going to buy Corningwear. Are you with me makcik-makcik yang lain?

These are the lights that I bought. They are nothing to be proud of la… They are the CHEAPEST at the store. But since I ukur baju di badan sendiri bukan badan Kim Kardashian (akan longgar di bahagian bonbon nanti) I think these are so nice already for our humble old house. Azman bought them with his hard earn money so Miki must say thanks to Daddy, kalau tak susah ko nak conteng dinding dalam gelap nanti!

Ceiling fixtures

I bought two sets of lights on the first photo for my kitchen. Very simple but I like them. They have these adjustable neck thingy so I can direct them to parts of the kitchen cabinets where I keep my most prized tableware –Tupperware! Erkkk??!

The second one is the oval hanging three botakheads. I think they are cute and they are also very popular you see them everywhere! I was thinking I wanna hang them at my stairway but the ceiling there is very high right? Would be pretty tricky so maybe I used it in one of the bedrooms.

For as long as I can remember I have always liked Secret Recipe’s black chandeliers. So when I saw this Black Mystic Chrystal Chandelier at the shop, I immediately know that I want it! Although Secret Recipe’s are like twice bigger in size and in cost than this but I still like it very much. I know where I am gonna hang this – our master bedroom. Coolness!

The last one has a nice name- Shaded Crystal Pendant Light. I bought this solely under the influence of another botakhead – Eric Leong. He used similar at Deko Bersama Eric Season 2 Episode 11. ( Tu diahh hafal satu persatu!!). I think it is modern looking and very pretty because of the flower motif. But I have a problem now, I don’t know which room I am going to use it. I want a retro dining room so this can’t do it. Maybe upstairs living room. I still have not the slightest idea what to do with that room.

So these are the lampus that make Makcik Di very happy. Meanwhile, i still need to find the right chandelier for my living room and another simple lightings for my entryway. Same goes for Miki’s room and patio and balcony.Kopakkkk wallet!
