Many-many years ago, while Azman and I was still dating, he went on a business visit to some Sony plant in Vietnam. He went with another colleague of his and during their free time, they raid the shopping mall because I remember I gave him a long list of stuff I want him to buy for me like silk etc

As they were walking in the mall, suddenly 2 Vietnamese ladies came and said hello to him and wanted to take pictures with him. In the beginning sure rasa cam perasan handsome jugak but to the extend of taking pictures? Azman asked them why take pictures??? And the girls answered in broken English…

“Because you are Indian film star!!!”

Azman’s colleague was nothing but ROTFLOL! If I was there I also tak jadi nak jealous and ROTFLOL sampai terkincit lah!

Nak buat camana yo… Orang Vietnam semua putih-putih sepet-sepet penyek-penyet… Nampak lain sikit terus jadi bintang pilem! Kelass uols… Muahahaa…

Now we all wonder, did the girls think Azman was Aamir Khan?????

Pada suatu hari saya telah menghadiri sebuah mesyuarat yang turut dihadiri oleh wakil-wakil Perhubungan Awam dari beberapa buah syarikat dan agensi yang berlainan. Kebanyakan daripada mereka memang saya kenali kerana kami sering bekerja sama dalam pelbagai kempen sebelum ini termasuklah seorang wanita yang pertama kali saya temui kira-kira 5 tahun yang lalu.

Setelah mesyuarat berakhir, kami berbual-bual mengenai kerja dan rakan-rakan. Tetiba wanita tersebut memperlahankan suaranya hingga hampir berbisik. Saya menjadi suspen! Beliau nampak hantu di belakang saya kah? Atau ada rahsia kerajaan mahu di kongsi bersama saya kah?

Dengan penuh hati-hati wanita itu bertanya…. “Emm… You masih isteri orang?” Sungguh sopan santun beliau bertanya sambil menunjukkan ibu jarinya kepada saya ala-ala pelajar sekolah berpidato.

Oleh sebab saya sejak lahir lagi sudah dibesarkan dengan keadaan hiruk-pikuk dan jerit-pekik bak Tarzan meroyan, besar kemungkinan gegendang telinga saya sudah tersalah dengar suara yang perlahan itu. Lantaran saya pun bertanya.. “Aaa? Apa dia?”

“You masih isteri orang ke?”

Saya pitam tergolek-golek.

Sesudah saya sedar semula saya rasa macam nak pitam lagi tapi saya bersabar. Sesungguhnya saya sangat terpana dengan soalan itu. Semasa saya belajar di Universiti Malaya dahulu, sudah cukup banyak soalan peperiksaan yang saya tak dapat jawab kerana saya asyik berdating saja tetapi soalan yang saya hadapi kali ini memang tak tercapai dek akalku.

Lantas dengan sepantas kilat saya terus menyelakkan baju saya dan menunjukkan kepada beliau tahap keboboyotan perut saya yang berhias linea nigra dari ulu hati hati hingga ke ulu xxx! Takkanlah aku boyot camni ko ingat aku menjanda Cik Bedah? Pekik saya dengan mata terbeliak.

OK saya tipu. Itu imaginasi saya saja.

Sebecok-becok sepetah-petah mulut berbicara, saya hanya mampu menjawap “Ya!” sambil menganggukkan kepala sahaja. Selepas itu saya terus berlalu pergi sebelum saya pitam tergolek-golek lagi.

Dari dalam lif hingga ke dalam kereta hingga sampai ke rumah, saya terus bingung memikirkan soalan itu. Setahu saya, 5 tahun dulu wanita itu memang sudah pun menjadi MakJan. Jadi saya rasa beliau membuat andaian saya juga sudah mendapat title yang sama.

Adakah menjadi lumrah wanita-wanita cantik dalam bidang perhubungan awam suka bercerai-berai dan menjanda dalam usia muda? Jika tidak mengapakah wanita itu bertanya soalan sebegitu dengan penuh selamba?

Beliau mahu melantik saya sebagai Pengerusi Kelab Janda Corporate Comm kah? Beliau ingin masuk line duda saya kah? Beliau sebenarnya lesbo yang selama ini menunggu saya kembali single kah?

PS -Yang saya pasti, dengan kandungan sudah 4 bulan, beliau tidak dapat mengesan keboyotan saya dan itu menunjukkan saya  masih hot *pengsan*.

PSS – Gambar diatas diambil semasa sambutan hari lahir anak kami yang ke-empat tengah bulan Januari lalu. Pada 30 Januari pula, Azman dan saya menyambut ulangtahun perkahwinan kami yang ke-enam. Saya ingin mengucap syukur atas kebahagiaan yang Allah berikat setakat ini. Walaupun kami tak kaya tapi semuanya mewah dan lebih dari mencukupi. Walaupun saya tidak  Kim Kardashian tapi saya berlaki lebih dari 70 hari. Apa aku merepek ni? Oh ya, doakan rumahtangga kami bahagia sampai ke syurga. Insya Allah!

The Petrosains is actually so interesting! Azman and I was there to check out one of the many sections of the Petrosains and it is called the PETRONAS Street Smart exhibition. The moment I stepped in the place I saw how nice the set up was and how much Miki would love this place, he might not want to leave!

The PETRONAS Street Smart exhibition has been operating for the past 10 years and serves as one of the PETRONAS’ key CSR programmes. It aims to continuously encourage science education as well as address current social issues, namely road safety by focusing on science and technology.

Apparently the PETRONAS StreetSmart exhibition which is an interactive Travelling Exhibition, has travelled extensively throughout Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak.

Designed with mobility in mind, the exhibition will continue to work around the country reaching beyond urban areas especially into small towns and remote locations. Since its inception, PETRONAS StreetSmart has engaged over 1 million visitors and participants, achieving high levels of participation throughout various communities and schools.

When we were there, we were so privileged to be briefed by Tengku Nasariah Tengku Syed Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of Petrosains Sdn Bhd herself. She said “The exhibition was aligned to Petrosains’ approach of using a variety of techniques, learning tools and programmes to encourage the appreciation and adoption of road safety awareness among society, especially students from the primary schools.”

True enough, the entire exhibition is full with highly interactive exhibits arranged in such a way that they seem to be built along roads and highways. Very interesting indeed, I can pictiure Miki walking (and insisting that his parents also walk within the “roads”  and not breaking any rules. Cute! They have road signs all over… Great for kids to learns the meaning of each one.

Miki would love reading this and 10 million questions based on just one sign! :p

Above is me hitting a helmet at the Skull Protector exhibition. This exhibit shows the importance of wearing a SIRIM- approved helmet while riding bikes because dude, I am telling ya…. even my weakest blow to the non-SIRIM helmet could be fatal!

All these exhibitions have been recognised for their relevance and impact since its introduction in 2001.  Since then it has received the full backing of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), Jabatan Keselamatan Jalan Raya (JKJR) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) who acknowledge the exhibits social value and impact, as well as economic importance.

Thanks friends and readers for visiting this blog. FYI how I wish I have the time to write about sensational stuff, heartfelt stories and Miki’s development update but badan tak kuat, kesihatan tak mengizinkan (aiyoo baru pregnant belum demam denggi lagi… touch wood!)

Anyway I have some pics that I took with my phone over the weekend let me upload here lah! On Saturday Azman had to work I stayed homi with Miki and we did nothing but relaxing, watching TV and play games. If I wasn’t down with morning sickness, I am sure we had gone out shopping or at least get some exercise at the park. Instead I made some spaghetti with tomato and fresh basil, spread a matt under the palm trees in our garden and have our own lil picnic there.

The weather on Saturday was cool and the sun was merciful. Miki and I had such a lovely time having our simple lunch outside.

Bentang tikar plastik cabuk, took out a couple of scattered cusions, belum sempat nak hidangkan air segala tengok2 mulut Miki dah bukan main comot hahaha… Sedap ye Miki, of course la Mummy yang masak! :p Took this pic I think he looks so cute here. Although it was not a hot day but Miki went back inside to his Ipad after he finished his meal… alala… so Putera Lilin!

I on the other hand proceeded with my sunbathing. I got my paperback novel with me, my fluffy cusions and the soft blowing wind! Relax betul.. heaven! Love my high fence, takde sapa nampak I terbongkang atas rumput depan rumah nak pakai bikini pun boleh woo kalau sanggup! haha

As you all know Azman and I are self-proclaimed Urban Garderner. Now we have more herbs and vegetable plants in our yard than flowering plants. Really banyak sampai tak termakan. At one time we produce so much of that iron-and-minerals-packed red spinach and sawi until I found it funny when I saw other people were buying that from the supermarket. I felt like saying eh.. tak payah la beli, mai datang umah saya petik. *pengsan*

In the end we gave some to family and friends and our pet rabbits pun bukan main mewah makan sayur bayam tiap-tiap hari. Now that my morning sickness is slowing me down a lot, I hardly cook anything and I have like 3 or 4 kuntum bunga kantan yang sampai dah kembang sebab tak petik!!! Not to mention cili padi, serai, basil melambak-lambak…

My cili padi yang sampai buruk atas pokok dan jatuh berguguran ke bumi. Below is Azman’s latest plants. Memang feeling-feeling Cameron Highlands la! This is cabbage aka kobis. I myself has never seen it grown in low land,in my own garden is the first time. So far it is growing beautifully, hope it will produce the cabbage head soon..
Memang susah jaga food plants when you are not using pesticide but that’s the challenge and looking at your plants growing gloriously like this is very satisfying like buying handbag. hahaha

On Sunday, I felt a bit better but still didn’t feel like going out takut making a scene by termuntah di khalayak ramai! So I decided to cook proper lunch for the family, I love authentic Malay cooking aka makanan kampung-kampung. So picked some herbs from the edible garden, serai, daun kunyit, bunga kantan, cili padi and also daun kesum.

The ginger torch and daun kesum was thrown into a pot of asam pedas ikan siakap – my husband likes this very much. I think my bro in law Abi mesti horror tengok muka ikan tu hahaha

I also made what tasted best in my preggie momma palate – masak lemak cili api!  That day I cooked masak lemak cili api ayam with tomatoes yang sangatlah marvelous lemak berkrim but I feel so guilty about taking that much santan. Next time I will remember not to use so much. FYI I have stopped cooking red meat in my kitchen except when we host bbq parties. I also limit the intake of cheese for myself and Azman except Miki he can take as much cheese as he wants. Red meat, cheese, santan adalah sangat tidak menyihatkan ye Puan-puan - pesanan daripada penaja.  Remember that asam pedas is better than masak lomak dan bolognese is better than creamy carbonara. Sekali -sekala boleh la eh…

Azman and Miki both suka and makan banyak betul, I feel so happy and semangat nak melawan pening so that I can cook regularly again. I really pray so that morning sickness will leave me soon. So that I can function normally again. LOL. Insyal Allah…

My son has grown so big.

Today 2 December 2011, Luth Mikael “Miki” Azman is 3 years and 10 months old. Soon he will turn 4, fit for school, no longer a baby but definitely always a baby to me.

We asked him if he wanted an adik (little brother or sister) and he said sure but he would prefer a little brother.

Daddy : “Kenapa Miki suka adik boy?”
Miki : “Adik boy tu kan, kalau dia nampak cat, dia kata CAT! Kalau adik girl, dia kata Tat!Tat! Pastu adik boy kan, kalau dia nampak door, dia kata Door! Kalau adik girl, dia kata Doodoorr doodoorrr!”
Daddy : “Adik girl tu pelat ke Miki?”
Miki : “Adik girl tak pandai sangat….”
Daddy : “ Dia comel tak?”
Miki : “Comel, tapi boy comel banyak….”

Sabar kan je lah Miki, belum apa-apa dah diskriminasi wanita. Haishh…

Finally he has moved on from his months-long obsession of Plants vs Zombies now that we have seen the movie Real Steel twice and Azman bought its game for Miki’s Ipad and his Iphone. Miki is so into the boxing robot game, yesterday he cried when Zeus lost to some other puny robot. Like how drama can he be? He memorized all the robot names.. Zeus, Ambush, Metro, Atom etc etc etc… Not to mention the names of all the Transformers and cartoon characters. But why he can be lazy with his lessons? i don’t know!?

Anyhow, although he can be so pemalas when it comes to lessons, Miki now is a lot better in reciting the Surahs, better at Maths, better at writing and drawing.. And the thing is – MIKI CAN NOW READ! Yay! Although he can only read short sentences and he needs to spell out every words. But I am still so proud! Good job kid!

Pretty smart he is but kids will always say the darnedest thing!

His Aunt Achik, is a little on a chubby side. When she was pregnant, Miki refused to believe that there was a baby in her tummy. He said, “Memang la Achik gemuk! Apa baby-baby pulak?” Azman and I pengsan-ed tergolek dog.

In October, when the baby was safely delivered, we showed him the baby that existence his didn’t believe in earlier. Miki smiled and looked at the baby admiringly. Later, while he was chatting with Achik, he saw her post-pregnancy tummy asked “Ni ada baby lagi ke?” I hid my face kat celah ketiak. Budak bertuah tanya soalan sensitive!

In another occasion we asked Miki if the baby is a boy or girl. He knew Ariff is a boy, but just to test him , I asked “Mana Miki tahu?” Suddenly Miki became unsure and after he appeared to be thinking hard, he said “Aahh Miki tahu lah! Miki kan pergi Art Class!”

Hahhaa! What does your art lessons got to do with checking the gender of a baby, Miki? Kelakar siot! To date Miki has gone to 6 or 7 classes at ART SAFARI, I love the fact that he enjoys the classes and socializing well with other kids and the teachers.

It has been an amazing journey that I have raising Miki to be the big boy he is today. I can’t wait to see how he cope living with an Adik after all these while being extremely pampered and manja. Miki my son, the thought of you never fails to make me smile.

At all time my head would be spinning, my body aching, not to mention nauseous and vomiting. My tummy is so windy I wish I could BURP IT OUT or FART IT OUR but darn it! The wind stays there in my esophagus making me feel like I have swallowed a bowling ball whole.

Any preggers Mom out there reading this? CAN YOU FEEL ME? TELL YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE SWALLOWED A BOWLING BALL TOO! TELL ME YOU FEEL LIKE EATING LASAGNA  BUT ONCE IT TOUCHES YOU TONGUE, IT TASTED NOTHING BUT BITTER! Huwarghhh

I feel really bad looking at this abandoned blog. I wanna thank you all too for keep on visiting although I haven’t been updating. Anyway, last week  I got a parcel full of Ocean Potion sunblock goodies. Yeahh.. receiving freebies  can be nice but it’s actually a token I received for joining the Extreme Challenge by Ocean Potion even before the actual winners are announced. All I did was uploading this picture of Miki yang sooo tak senonoh! hahahaha

In April this year, I was invited to join a Facebook video challenge, organised by Mattel Malaysia. We were given 4 Sing-A-Ma-Jigs plush toys FOC and make a movie out of it! Azman and I though hey why not? Since they were offering an Ipad2 for best video and we haven’t bought one yet at that time!

So we spent 15 minutes getting Miki to listen to our instructions and memorize some lines, and then about a couple of hours to edit the recordings out. I later blog about it HERE to entice my blog readers, friends and families to vote for the amateur video. And today I realized, I have never published it in this blog!

You guys just have to see it! Because it has gotten 284 likes at the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs FB page and because of this video WE WON AN IPAD2, 64GB, white! yay!

Untuk pengetahuan anda, sejak akhir-akhir ini saya cukup sering dihubungi oleh kawan-kawan yang telah lama menghilang. Pada mulanya saya berasa sungguh popular, maklumlah beberapa minggu yang lalu muka saya yang lebam ini telah muncul di surat khabar The Star sebesar 3.452 milimeter persegi. Saya ingatkan mereka nak kata saya jelita tapi rupa-rupanya mereka hanya ingin menjual korset kepada saya. Cis, sudah tertipu pulak saya. Bencikk…

Setelah saya mengamati timeline Facebook saya, dapat saya simpulkan bahawa corset Premium Beautiful adalah sungguh popular sekali. Saya tidak dapat menafikan bahawa mukjizat keberkesanannya cukup tinggi,  seperti boleh menguruskan badan, menegakkan posture, mengurangkan nafsu serakah makan, mengetatkan apa-apa yang longgar malah yang penting sekali – ia membolehkan kaum wanita seperti kita feeling-feeling chantek.

Saya rasa, sesiapa yang kurang bersifat feeling-feeling begitu wajarlah membeli korset PB ini kerana keyakinan diri kadang-kala memang sukar dicari. Begitu juga dengan kaum isteri yang lakinya bermulut hanjeng suka mengeji isteri sendiri. Marilah kita bersama-sama mencantikkan body!!

Namun begitu saya ingin mengucapkan terima kasih kepada kawan-kawan yang cuba mempromosikan saya produk ini, kerana dalam jangka masa terdekat ini, rasanya saya tak kosser nak beli.

Ini adalah kerana Diyana Yang membeli korset adalah umpama mangsa kebuluran Somalia membeli produk kecantikan SKII – MEMBAZIR DUIT!!

Saya sebenarnya sedang berkira-kira nak telan Weight Gain dalam setin dua, apa kejadahnya saya nak beli PB pula? Untuk pengetahuan anda tahap kelangsingan saya adalah mencapai tahap kurus kering-kontang yang menyedihkan. Semua seluar jeans saya adalah bersaiz 24. Seluar kecik pun boleh dibeli di department kanak-kanak. Lemak tang manakah perlu saya kemekkan dalam korset ittew?

Lagipun saya takut kalau korset ini di pakai lama-lama, nanti pinggang jadi terlalu ramping pula. Usahkan nak bernafas dengan selesa, nak kentut pun macam tak boleh saja.

Dengan itu sudilah kiranya rakan dan taulan membuat sedikit kaji selidik sebelum menjual produk kepada potential customer. Kenalilah keperluan pelanggan anda sebelum menjual membuta-tuli.

Saya mengucapkan syabas dan selamat maju jaya kepada semua rakan-rakan millionaire wannabe. Sesungguhnya jikalau ada produk MLM yang boleh meng-KIMKARDASHIAN-kan saya seperti PB nescaya saya akan beli.

I will be coming home on Sunday, I really cannot wait because as usual, I miss Azman and Miki so badly everytime I am away on work. I am working on project that gets me to the these amazingly beautiful remote places in Malaysia. I have been to the interior zone of Sabah last month and now I am visiting Mukah, Dalat and Balingian in Sarawak.  The culture, the people, the food is amazing here, I am loving these experiences but yeah I am too homesick! I hope Azman and Miki can join me visit the longhouses at the side of  the huge Rejang river crawling with crocodile tomorrow. But I think tomorrow they will be walking at the mall - boring!

Talk about walking, we are planning to join the World Hunger Relief 2011 Charity Walk at Putrajaya  on 29th October 2011. YAYYYY!!!

It is gonna be our first so come on friends, especially those in Putrajaya, let’s contribute a little something to make the world a better place. Here, I am sharing with you a write-up I found about the Walk.

Come participate in a Charity Walk in support of the UN World Food Programme (WFP) World Hunger Relief 2011 campaign. World Hunger Relief campaign proceeds will support the global fight against hunger, especially greatest needs supported by WFP, with a special focus on school meals. World Hunger Relief is an opportunity for everyone to make a difference in the fight against hunger –each contribution makes a global impact. The event will be held on 29 October 2011 from 1.00 pm onwards at the Istana Kehakiman, Putrajaya. There will be games, activities and a mini concert featuring Mizz Nina, Hujan and stars from Kamilah Bintang. Registration fee is only RM 25 with goodie bag and food included.
