Throughout the great many years that I have stayed in KL, and the countless of times I have been to KLCC, never once I step foot at the Petrosains. I always thought that it is for kids to get some informal learning through museum-like exhibits. Okay! I was wrong! I am so sorry! In case you all have been as ignorant as I was, Petrosains is a wholly owned subsidiary of PETRONAS. They manages the visit operations of the world renowned PETRONAS Twin Towers and the interactive science centre, Petrosains, The Discovery Centre.

The Petrosains is actually so interesting! Azman and I was there to check out one of the many sections of the Petrosains and it is called the PETRONAS Street Smart exhibition. The moment I stepped in the place I saw how nice the set up was and how much Miki would love this place, he might not want to leave!

The PETRONAS Street Smart exhibition has been operating for the past 10 years and serves as one of the PETRONAS’ key CSR programmes. It aims to continuously encourage science education as well as address current social issues, namely road safety by focusing on science and technology.

Apparently the PETRONAS StreetSmart exhibition which is an interactive Travelling Exhibition, has travelled extensively throughout Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak.

Designed with mobility in mind, the exhibition will continue to work around the country reaching beyond urban areas especially into small towns and remote locations. Since its inception, PETRONAS StreetSmart has engaged over 1 million visitors and participants, achieving high levels of participation throughout various communities and schools.

When we were there, we were so privileged to be briefed by Tengku Nasariah Tengku Syed Ibrahim, Chief Executive Officer of Petrosains Sdn Bhd herself. She said “The exhibition was aligned to Petrosains’ approach of using a variety of techniques, learning tools and programmes to encourage the appreciation and adoption of road safety awareness among society, especially students from the primary schools.”

True enough, the entire exhibition is full with highly interactive exhibits arranged in such a way that they seem to be built along roads and highways. Very interesting indeed, I can pictiure Miki walking (and insisting that his parents also walk within the “roads” and not breaking any rules. Cute! They have road signs all over… Great for kids to learns the meaning of each one.

Miki would love reading this and 10 million questions based on just one sign! :p

“Safe Riding” exhibits. This educated riders on the risks they face on the road.

Above is me hitting a helmet at the Skull Protector exhibition. This exhibit shows the importance of wearing a SIRIM- approved helmet while riding bikes because dude, I am telling ya…. even my weakest blow to the non-SIRIM helmet could be fatal!

All these exhibitions have been recognised for their relevance and impact since its introduction in 2001. Since then it has received the full backing of the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS), Jabatan Keselamatan Jalan Raya (JKJR) and the Ministry of Education (MOE) who acknowledge the exhibits social value and impact, as well as economic importance.

Above – Azman trying the Buckle Up exhibit, which is probably the stay exhibit here! It allows us to experience forces up to 5 times the body weight simila to those is a crash of about 10km/h. Wow!

Over tak? Sampai 2 orang explained to me this exhibit. Maybe I was so bengap! LOL

Our guide for that day! very nice and friendly!

Heheh! My friend Nannoor was also there! Let’s bring our kids there together-gether eh Nannoor? Below are the list of great many activities that children can do here. I highly recomend this place! Really!

For ticketing and booking, you can browse here! They have speacial rates for MyKad holders. Anyway, I am glad that now I know how wonderful Petrosains can be! Although I only check out the Street Smart exhibition belum masuk semua lagi!?!! I am really eager to take Miki here soon!

So fellow Mommies and Daddies.. How about a toddler outing to Petrosains eh? Let me know!

Dear Miki,

Each time we went back to Penang, you will be having a jolly good time with your cousins especially Arash and Sarah. Both of them have bicycles that they would ride around the housing area in the afternoons. You wanted to go round and round the place as well but you didn’t have a bike so you ran! And you ran and you ran after Sarah’s bicycle. You ran until you were drenched in sweat and your cheeks flushed pink.

Don’t feel so bad kid, I remember Arash did the same to his big bro Adam when he was your age too… After all, although you are tad taller for our age, you are only 3 years old. Still very much a baby to many…

A couple of weeks ago we finally bought your first bicycle. You used to have a tricycle that was given to you on your second birthday by my friends (thanks ladies!) but being a typical little boy, the tricycle is destroyed by the next birthday party.

At the toy store in Nilai 3, you picked the red and grey bicycle for yourself and it sure look very good on you. It has training wheels of course but I still wondered if you could push the pedals on your own. You didn’t get any useful practice with the tricycle, so I was prepared to go for <del>24 credit hours</del> a series of training before you can ride the bicycle on your own.

But I was wrong. You climbed on the bicycle and instantly you start to push the pedals. Awkward in the first few minutes only but after that you were cycling on your own and navigating the handles like a pro! I am so proud of you. But being three, your legs are still not that strong so sometimes when it went uphill you need us to give you a little bit of a push. It’s okay!! We are still so proud of you!

And you know what kid, you look so gomoi-licious cute! I love you!

Check our my new bike guys!

Miki riding his first bike at the park

Look Mummy! One hand!

Yay! I am so excited!

That’s my son!

From that first day, cycling becomes your favorite past time, but to ensure your safety from mad rempit estate and fast moving cars, we always take you to our favourite park. Sometimes if I am home early and the weather is right, you make me hang out there until it is almost dark.

I don’t mind waiting for you my son, I don’t mind at all. Cycling is a good exercise and as I walk briskly behind you and your red bicycle, I was given some time to think.

I am thinking how fast you are growing. I am thinking how you have become mobile. I am thinking how soon you will ask for the training wheels to be removed and then you will speed even much faster. How fast will you go. Will you be safe.

I wish we could make this huge bubble and put you in it. So that when you fall you wont scrape you knee and when some sneeze you won’t catch the bug. But I know we can’t do that. As much as Mummy and Daddy is here to protect you, Miki… someday you jump on your wheels and you’ll be on your own.

And by then I hope we have thought you enough knowledge, enough wisdom to prepare you for the big bad world outside. How I drag that moment to come but Mummy and Daddy always want the best for you, son…

May you always be wise and good, be strong and be kind. Insya Allah, He will take care of you even when we are not. We love you Miki, We love you very much!

Mummy.

Weekends are just too awesome. I just had one that is so colorful thanks to Lil Miki. He did so many things from being really smart to really chatty to really mengada-ngada and the ultimate one is when I left him for two minutes and he bit into an anti-fungus cream tube until it popped and some of the stuff got into his mouth. That evoked the meroyan-ness in me and I became mad! mad! mad!! And then I felt bad and bought him more toys… Urghh!

Anyway on Saturday we went to a kenduri in Salak Tinggi and since we were already there, we thought why not go to Nilai 3 to get a bicycle for Miki. We bought one for RM180 only and I think it is just too cute, I will write about it in my next entry. Nilai 3 is a very interesting place, we were driving around when I saw AVALON having a Cheap Sale.

FYI despite shopping for many lights in IKEA and here, we still have two walls in the house bare waiting for wall lights to be installed. So kesian we have been staying in this house for more than one year already but everytime I check out lights shop, most of what they have are crystal ones like these :-

Crystal chandelier

I am not saying that they are not pretty but my taste slants more towards these kind :-

Classic lamps. White chandelier in the middle is sooooo cute!

This time around I was not looking for a chandelier but wall lights and AVALON finally have some that I really like. AVALON’s pricing however is not very affordable! Agak mahal berbanding kedai aku pergi dulu kat Puchong although they sure have many varieties to choose from sampai juling bijik mata.

Classic wall lights/lamps. Rambang mata!

Although the one that I wanted was quite costly, I thought we have left the wall so bare for so long, WOULD YOU JUST BUY ONE ALREADY, YOU KEDEKUT TAIK IDUNG MASIN YOU! So we did and I am sooooo happyyyy! Another cool thing about all our home improvement projects is the fact that my darling Mr Handyman will fix it himself and that feels so satisfying <del>and sexy</del>. My beau Azman does gardening, plumbing, painting, carpentry, fixing broken stuff etc etc…all except cooking! That’s what I call a real man! :p

But this time, fixing the wrought iron wall lamp is a bit tricky because it takes two people to do it and Miki is too short to reach that high. Since Miki is a kid, Kokades is a rabbit, pandang kiri, pandang kanan takde sapa lagi dah nak jadi helper but me!? Gulp!

So I had to help him..susah woooo…. lenguh ketiak tolong pegang lampu tu while Azman did the wiring thingy. And then when it came to screwing the wrought iron to its wall fixture, I am proud to say that I was the one who worked the screw driver around the narrow space between the wall and the iron. Azman had difficulties doing it because his fingers are huge. My dainty princess’ fingers however are so perfect for the job. I have never felt so talented in my whole life! heeeeee….

First drill holes to fix the lamp securely.. Baju tak pakai takpe, gloves kena pakai nanti tangan kasar LOL

Then hang the wrought iron lamp securely with the help of Madam of house but no pic of Madam in action la, Miki takmau tangkap.. :p Then try pasang the bulbs see the wiring works or not…

After checking, then fix the glass bowl whachamacallit…

Then finally tadaaaa!! We have new lampu in the house! Happy! Happy! Happy!!

The thing about furniture, decorations etc is the more you get them the more you want to buy MORE! Now that my used-to-be-totally-bare wall has a lamp (with three lights) already, I think some how it looks more naked than before.

Beneath these lights a picture or painting needs to be hanged. That calls for more money. Tepuk dahi!

Have a good week ahead guys!

I hope someday when Miki is older and wiser, he will go through the contents of this blog and be reminded of how lucky he is. Although he was not born with a silver spoon in his mouth but at least he is a hundred times more privileged than his parents was when they were his age.

When I was a child, Miki… getting a glimpse of the ikan kaloi in the aquarium at the local clinic was already so fascinating. You however, went to the Underwater World Langkawi when you were 11 months old with short term memory loss. Last Sunday, you went to KLCC Aquaria in KL and at 3 years, toddlers still have short term memory loss.

Oh by the way, I have something cool to share with my readers. You see, when we were at the Aquaria, I found out that Tupperware Brands Malaysia is having its Tupperware One Touch Air Tight Challenge. Being a Tupperware avid user, I was very surprise to see a Tupperware container placed nicely in one of the huge FISH TANKS!!! Yes it was IN a fish tanks with gallons of water!

And when I peered closely I saw a Samsung Galaxy Tab in it! I thought this people were really crazy lah… Too much money I think… ada Galaxy Tab pergi taruk dalam aquarium pulak! LOL

But it actually proves how airtight the container can be! Amazing isn’t it? It is so airtight you can keep your favorite food and snacks in there like keropok and cookies and they could last for months!

I decided to join the Tupperware One Touch Air Tight Challenge, so dialed the Tab’s number which is 012 783 0790.. and it rang guys! The cool gadget really worked despite being placed underwater thanks to the Tupperware container of course!

Ring! Ring!

Anyway, Tupperware is giving away amazing prizes in conjunction with the challenge, for every 100th, 200th, 300th, 400th, etc, sms received by the said Tab will be entitled to a Tupperware Hamper worth RM 50 and also be in running to win one of three Samsung Galaxy Tabs.

Hey I love simple contest! Remember those days when we need to purchase like a hundred ringgit worth of whatever product in order to participate in a contest that promises gifts so lame, they don’t worth the hundred ringgit joining fee?!

Now this challenge is freaking free except for the telco charges that apply when you’re sending an sms. Unfortunately for me I had to pay the Aquaria tickets to find out about the challenge but for you all it’s just 20cents la! The organizers do not know if you are sending the text from Aquaria or in front of your notebook reading my blog kan???

Haha! So cheat all you want guys and send your sms now!

Who knows you can be the lucky one winning the Galaxy Tab!? Here’s how you do it:-

Type <TupperwareAirtight> space <YourName> and send to 012 783 0790.

Okay, I have just slimmed down the chances of myself winning the challenge but what the heck, sharing is caring eh? Korang kalau menang the Tupperware hampers worth from hundreds to thousands bagi aku sikit ok? LOL..

One more important fact – the challenge ends on 31st May. So you have only a few days left to send your sms, so don’t delay send now!
You can get more info, check out great offers at Tupperware FB page. Just click LIKE, okay?

Aquaria diver and Mr Green Turtle

Although we enjoyed ourselves especially Miki who was running back and forth in the underwater tunnel,
KLCC Aquaria disappoints me. I remember Underwater World Langkawi was so much bigger, more fun and
attractive. Sorry Aquaria, you are not in the list of my recommendations.

Mr Green Turtle and myself

Albino frogs – so geli-fying!

Do you know the aquatic creatures that we see in the tanks are actually 30% smaller than their actual size?
That’s an arapaima…

That frog is probably the biggest frog I have ever seen… and when Miki was looking at it, he almost kissed the aquarium glass. Gilerrr… nasib baik aku tak terpengsan.. i hate frogs!! Benci! Benci!! Sangat geli ok!

Somehow I think we have eaten this shellfish before in Restoran Nelayan Bukit Malut in Langkawi a couple of years ago. hehe

Miki sampai ternganga!

Look at the size of that shark and check out its teeth… Scaryyyy!!

Stingray and me… Gigi aku dengan gigi shark tadi macam sama je kan..?

I wrote a short entry here last week about our short break in Cherating. Actually we went to enter the Holiday Villa Cherating 21st Annual Sand Sculpture Competition, thanks to Holiday Villa and also Advertlets.

We arrived at the beautiful place late Saturday afternoon, enjoyed the swimming pool, ate a hearty bbq buffet dinner and in the morning, the white sandy beach turned into this

The stretch was divided into lots and we got lot no 5.

I was so freaking ready people! Although we had no experience what so ever with sand sculpting, I came a lil bit prepared with a small bucket and a gardening scoop. But darn it, that was not enough… Other groups had shovel, watering can, water spray etc…

As the theme of the competition was Animal World, we decided to sculpture a tarantula, inspired by Miki’s creepy tarantula toy. There were 4 people in my group, Rebecca, Jason, Azman and I.

Gigih uols! Perhatikan mulut Azman moncong2 buat kaki tarantula… Muka aku lagi dasyat siot bila concentrate, nasib baik aku pakai cap korang tak nampak.. hah

All of us worked really hard, for those who would like to try this activity, let me warn you it could be very tiring! It takes a lot of energy digging for wet sand, carrying water to the lot (actually there was not need to do this if we dug deep enough to use all wet sand) and of course the sculpting itself. And in case you have forgotten, all of these were done under the bright Malaysian sun!

But for Azman and I, you know we love these kind of outdoor activities. Even when I knew that my skin would later turn charcoal black for the next 4 months, I freaking enjoyed myself that day!

Miki’s tarantula, our inspiration and a bee that Azman made to be it’s lunch… hehe

We were given 3 hours to complete the sculpture (8.30-11.30am) but if I remember correctly we were done by 10ish. Not that our sculpture was super perfect already but it was due to the pancit factor! TAK LARAT DAHHH!!! So off we went for a swim in the pool.

Above is our beloved TARANTULA… Walaupun ko hodoh cam labah-labah tak cukup sifat but you will always be in my heart, o tarantula.. you are my first sand sculpture and I am so proud of you! haha

Help! A giant tarantula is trying to eat me!!

Although we had a blast of good time… We didn’t win…

And although we didn’t win.. we were extremely redha! hehehe Because this the winning sand sculpture:-

It’s freaking amazing people!! It was a lion in front….

A dolphin and a snake at the back!!! It was really neat and these sure got skills!! Hebat! Check out the other sculptures.. Enjoy!

The coral reef!

I have dozens of other pics to upload but I guess I’ll do it later. I just have to say that Insya Allah, I would like to join this competition again next year! Who’s with me?

I hate it when I start writing a new blog entry with “ OMG, it has been a long time since I last updated this blog..”
But there you go, I just did it again and this time I took so long to write a new entry until I couldn’t remember what was the previous post all about. Darn!

Anyway, this time let’s see what Miki did during the three-day weekend. We went BALIK KAMPUNG! Yay! Gosh balik kampong can be so much fun! All three of us enjoyed it very much although Azman and I was dead tired after the long drive.

On Friday, my company’s Annual Dinner was held at the Royale Chulan and I had so much fun although I didn’t win any lucky draw prizes. I just have to mention the lucky draw because the grand prize was RM10,000 cash, second prize RM6,000 and third RM4,000. Other than that they gaveaway electronic items and my boss won a 32in LCD! *jealous* I am not gonna promise but if suddenly I become rajin I will post some colorful pics taken from the dinner.

After the dinner, at 3am we drove back to Kedah. Miki’s Opah cooked yummy food, we ate and ate and later in the evening we went to Ulu Legong Hot Springs for some natural sauna effect. It was very nice, I like that place.

Miki at the Pasar Malam, posing in front of all the durians. These were sold at Rm6 per kilo. Type D99 and I think I like this better than other types.

On Sunday morning we rushed to Penang for my best friend who was also my bride’s maid- Rina’s engagement. She looked so pretty and so pinang di belah dua with Tariq who flown all the way from Birmingham. I am so happy for you Rina! Congrats!

B-na, Rina, me! whaddepak my tummy berlipat-lipat..?! *stress*

Hazrina & Tariq Khan

That night I joined the guys lepak-ed at Kayu Nasi Kandar behind Vistana to watch ManUtd vs Arsenal but kalah pulak. Vavi tul! Hehe

On Monday, my sister, Ija, her hubby and kiddoes joined us for a picnic at the beach! Wahh it was so nice, I love beaches although they never fail to make me blacker than Kopi O Kapal Api. Haishhh…

Miki nampak whale ke apa Miki?

Miki, Kakak Win and Kakak Oya!

After super delicious lunch that my Mom made for us, we went out to makan some more! LOL This time we headed for some serious laksa in Balik Pulau. If you are a makan fan, you should know Laksa Pokok Janggus!

Apart from laksa, they also have delicious sesame seed banana fritters, all sorts of drinks and of course ais-kacang! Love it!

Miki terliur ke?

Opah and Daddy- This pic is taken by Miki. Not bad eh?

Kakak Win – pic also by Miki. This is a nice shot, Miki. Gambar sharp tak goyang…

Miki, Kakak Win and Baby Naufal tome-tome! Timinimini!!!

And below pics are simply because I couldn’t get enough of Cimiki Chikadee!

As we were packing our bags to go back to Kinrara late Monday evening, Miki suddenly mengamuk and upset. He wanted Arash, his 9 year old cousin to follow us laaaa, and then he wanted to stay in Penang laa… It’s breaking my heart seeing him that way, knowing he was enjoying himself so much in Kedah and Penang.

Trust me Miki, Mummy and Daddy too love to be spending time with our family members but our lives are in the Klang Valley so we have to go back. I promise we will visit your Opahs and Atuk again soon. Family is a gem so precious, Miki! I hope you will always love and treasure your family from now until forever.

We love you, Miki!

It has been quite a busy weekend. On Saturday we went for breakfast at our favourite Mamak’s and had lunch at Taman Warisan Pertanian, Putrajaya. We went there all the way because we were meeting a customer who was buying Manchester United rompers and jackets from us.

Miki was all excited about the Hot Air Balloon Carnival that was happening over the weekend but 2pm was not the time. So kesian Miki was pointing and talking non-stop about the carnival buntings they hang on the lamp post all over Putrajaya but knowing it was going to rain (wahh.. macam bomoh ujan pulak) in the afternoon, we decided to spend the time elsewhere.

After lunch we drove to Sungai Buloh with a mission! TO BUY ATAP DAUN NIPAH FOR OUR RABBITS’ ENCLOSURE!
Right now the enclosure is covered by blue plastic/canvas thingy to shelter our furry buddies from the rain and sun but blue is tak cantik laaaa….. The place is surrounded by so many plants and bright yellow/orange flowers… tetiba ada atap plastic pulakkk…. Sangat TAK GREEN OK!!! Bak kata Bik Mama, kita kalau tak green technology nanti gempa bumi, tsunami tak terbendung uols!! Mangkuk! Haha

So we searched high and low for the atap nipah and finally found them in one of the nurseries. Costs RM3 per piece only. Now we have a more natural look in our garden for the rabbits that is of course more environmental friendly. Ehem!

In the car on the way to Sungai Buloh, Miki did something very touching. He browsed through The Star newspaper and found a big photo of a hot air balloon with a smiley face on it. Still super excited about the balloons (that he last seen in 2010), Miki tore out the photo from the newspaper and was holding on to it until THE NEXT DAY!

Dasyat Miki! Mummy nak syahdu pun ada… Nak tergelak pun ada… haishhh…

The next morning, we were determined to wake up early and catch the 8am balloon flight but it took a lot to be determined. We only managed to arrive in Putrajaya at 9.45am and of course there was only two-three balloons there going up and down, carrying passangers.

Since Miki wanted to see the smiley face balloon like the one in the pic he torn out from the paper, we just have to come back again in the afternoon. But before we leave, we went to Taman Warisan again for breakfast and this time the food sucks!

I bought nasi kerabu from one of the stalls and the girl behind the counter is a cross between super-lembab and super-mangkuk ayun tak paham bahasa. Sekian terima kasih!

At around 4pm we drove to Putrajaya again (third time over the weekend) and this time Miki managed to see the balloons fly although it was not as grand as we expect it. Last year was soooo much better. The cutest balloon was a cat shaped one and Miki was like.. OK! Next?!

But the little boy had fun and I am so glad he did. For dinner we went to Lake Garden Café at Precinct 2. It is between the New Millennium Monument and the new mosque. I read a tip on Foursquare that the café is under new management. That explains how they don’t even have a calculator but the food was GOOD!! Delicious!

The the tarik is Mamak-class! Azman had Laksa Utara that is really Laksa Utara instead of watery soupy whatever that KL people tend to claim as Laksa Utara. I had Lempeng Kelapa (coconut pancake). It was served with sugar, sambal, beef curry and chicken rendang. The chicken rendang is so nice! It tasted really like rendang pedas perak.. yang ada daun kunyit and other herbs! I like!

Let’s hope they keep up the good work with the food and unlike the Nasi Kerabu Taman Warisan, this place you guys ought to check out!

More on Miki, over the weekend, he has shown some interest and abilities to READ! Yay! He found call card from the old office and read out the 5 letter name of company and also my name! hooray!!! It is still a long way until he can read perfectly… but at least he has understood the concept.

You make Mummy daddy very proud this week Miki!

He is also doing very-very well with living without diapers. Good job kid! Today however, Miki is feverish. Must be the cold drizzle from yesterday. Hope his condition isn’t bad. Can’t wait to go home to him later.
Happy Monday everybody!

Last Sunday we had so much fun and muscle ache at Sungai Lepoh waterfall in Ulu Langat. Azman, Miki and I went jungle tracking together for the first time. Our friends Zira, her husband Wan and Miki’s best friend at Mama Rose’s, Danish invited us to join them for the activity and of course we couldn’t say no! We also invited Nize because he is awesome and he is Miki’s most favourite Uncle in the world! hehe

Wan, an avid mountain climber suggested the trail among others such as Broga Hill etc because of the waterfall that awaits us at the end of the trail. I really regret however for the fact that I forgot to charge my camera and we end up to use our cellphones hence the fugly photos. sighhh…

Sungai Lepoh waterfall

We parked our cars at the foot of the hill, an Orang Asli woman who was collecting the parking fee said there has been cases of injuries and one death up there on the hills that we were about to go. Gulp! I swallowed hard… It was an elderly Mat Salleh that couldn’t catch his breath and passed away. Horror takkk??? Horror takk??? mat salleh panjat bukit tu sampai semput mampus terus… Aku yang bersenam sambil makan Oreo ni camana??

We started the climb at around 10.30am and arrive at almost 1pm! Berpeloh keti! hhaha.. First 30-40 minutes was walking through Orang Asli’s farm thus the wilderness wasn’t so thick. But as we go on, the banana trees and rubber trees amidst immense bushes turned into densed jungle.

We walked on red slippery dirt. Miki and Danish both wore Crocs but I was the most “terror” one… I wore RM5 pretty pink slippers that I got after a padicure at The Nail Parlour! haha.. My Adidas was stolen la… I didn’t get a chance to replace it yet….

Miki, 3 years 2 months and Danish who is about 5 posing underneath a fallen log so huge!

Check out the trail yo! Isn’t it steep or what? Wan and lil Danish climbing like a pro!

Some parts of the trail is quite wide that 2 people could walk side by
side but most of the time it’s very narrow and slippery. We had to jump over fallen logs several time, cross small stream with water cool as ice. We walked pass huge rocks as big as elephants and not to mention flora and fauna. It was amazing! I love it and I wish we could go a bit slower so that I can enjoy the nature around but we need to move fast, we didn’t wanna caught in the middle of the jungle when it rains!

Above, me resting on a kayu balak and Miki snacking on biscuit. Mushrooms growing fresh on another mossy log and a great beautiful flower that I have never seen before in my life. As we went uphill, the color of the flower turned whiter. Gorgeous!

I am very-very proud of Miki and Danish! BTW, Danish as young as he is, has climbed Mount Jerai in Kedah OK!!! Isn’t he the coolest or what!? Throughout the entire time, Danish was really cool and strong, he hardly complained and only asked to stop for weewee. As he was doing his business in the bush, he would yell very loudly

“Datuk.. Nenek… Cucu tumpang kencing!” LOL! Danish is the best! His motivation to go on is the waterfall that he couldn’t wait to swim in.

Miki on the other hand need extra motivations. He doesn’t understand waterfall so he took up the challenge of racing with Danish. He always wanted to be in front of Danish when we walked on the trail. He giggled when Danish fell down but one problem with Miki is he either ran or wanted to be carried. Miki hardly ever walk slowly! He is hyper like that!

Miki walked on his own half way through the trail and after that he started to get tired and asked for more stop. Azman had to carry him at some parts because Miki was tired and mostly the path was too difficult, too steep, too slippery..
However I am still very proud of him.. He is soooo terror! This was his first time ever walking amongst nature that wasn’t a zoo or a park. He did very well! But actually Daddy lagi terror because on the way back from the waterfall Miki was sleepy (it was his nap time), so he got cranky and fallen asleep on his Daddy’s shoulders!

Haha! So Azman had to ascend the hill with his backpack and a 15kilo boy on his shoulder. Terror la Daddy! Proud of you also la! haha.. After Miki woke up, he was so refreshed and happy, he walked with me hand in hand.

Miki, Danish, Zira and I…

Air Terjun Lepoh is so amazingly beautiful. The water us green and teeming with fish. See below pic, Wan, Danish and Miki is feeding them bread. The water is so clear, you can see the fishes swimming around you just as though you were snorkelling at the sea! The guys climbed up the rocks really high and dived down but Zira and I tak berani la… hahaha
We brought lots of food and lunch by the waterfall can never tastes so good!

Miki also got his first pacat bite yo! I saw it on his calf and called Azman but he said “Cabutlah!”
I was like.. cabutlah??? I didn’t go meroyan pulling my hair and melompat-lompat is good enough ok?? Pacat is the second creature I am most terrified of after caterpillar. Ada ke suruh aku cabut… giler ke….. Miki steady je… dia tak sedar pun apa berlaku.. he was busy playing with the cool water…

Above – Nize layan blues and Azman dipping in the water in his clothes. At the foot of the hill where we parked our car, was actually camping and picnic area as well. So once before we go back home, we took a cooling dip again! Lovely cool water and beautiful surrounding…

I am glad Miki managed to hike the hill although with his Daddy’s assistance. I am glad I managed to as well even in my selipar padicure. Haha! I want Miki to be tough and be a nature lover. Jangan nak main game pastu jalan-jalan kat mall makan ice-cream je! Lembik ok! Lembik!

Next time we should camp, so that we can take our time walking and rest well before we make our way back. I cannot wait for the next adventure!
