Charles and Keith and mini updates

charles & keith shoes

I got a present today for my hang-around-without-annoying-anyone day. It happens every once in a year. That’s when I have too much work so I try really hard to procrastinate without making it look too obvious.

To my blog reader that has given me this pair of lovely pumps for absolutely no reason; THANK YOU, you know who you are!

:)

I am indeed very busy. I have so much things to update in the blog but I am caught up between trips to dreamland and part-time work and sandwiched between house-chores and sitting down on the floor playing with Miki.

Miki has been sleeping at 1-2 in the morning for the past week. He is now very musical and sing songs that he made up with lyrics about the Vitagen that he poured on his own shirt; what he fed his rabbits; about our trip to GIANT to buy jagung. Super cute! The late sleeping part not cute.

Azman is also busy and coming back late from work but always helping me waters my petunias in the morning

My purple petunia’s stem has grown so long about 3 feet already and bursting with velvety blooms. Very-very beautiful.

The Pontianak behind my house is still most probably just me.

MinMin and Kokades are still not showing any sign of becoming parents.

We are now a proud owner of an online store that sells really terrific stuff. Check it out.

My hair looks like berus dawai versi panjang

My face despite the toner looks like a porcupine’s back with the thorns chopped off.

I love Mikiazman.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

My dream house renovation and kitchen backsplash ideas

Azman and I have set two critical renovation works that needs to be done BC or BC. You have two options to refer what BC or BC is, one – BY HOOK or BY CROOK; two – BY CASH or BY CREDIT. Take your pick, both is correct.

First thing that we need to change in the house is the toilets. We think it is extremely gross to be sitting in the throne that has seen its former King and Queen. From the butt point of view. So bathrooms need renovation. Pronto!

Secondly, a paint job. Oh well, I believe all new homeowners will give their houses a fresh coat of paint. I freaking hate the color of our roof. I desperately hope we can change it.

So these two works will be given biggest priority. I am currently thinking of ways how to put
a) pecahkan KEBABOOMM seluruh lantai kitchen and change to the checkered tiles of my dreams
b) tiled up my entire porch with that pretty MML tiles for heavy duty

under item 1. House re-painting in the contractor’s invoice. Who knows, maybe that way Azman won’t notice and just pay for everything. Weee!! You know any contractor that sneak up such a thing? What? Did you say ALL contractors do that? Owh…

Oh fishhh… This plan will only work if I had married some stupid son of some Datuk with no brains. Unfortunately I married a brainy engineer that is very wise and has a face to-die-for. Tsk tsk!
(pembodekkan laki habis-habisan demi mendapatkan lantai idaman)

Sigh. Insya Allah if we have extra money, I really want to change my kitchen backsplash. You know, the finishing for the walls at your kitchen cabinet area. There are so many modern design of kitchen backsplash right now, some are really nice and subtle, others are really colorful and head-ache inducing.

Somehow, I like the latter.

I found another grey hair on my head so I need another holiday

I woke up this morning thinking about our next holiday. I am so excited. We are going to the harem of monkeys! No, not Vegas.. you wish!

We are going to go and see the colony of the proboscis monkey – the horniest ape the world, that can only be found in SABAH! Yeaa Sabah, wa caya sama lu!

This is gonna be our second time in Borneo, first time I went there was to celebrate my birthday on Mount Kinabalu. This year I would like to celebrate my birthday in Sabah again, because I simply love the land below the wind. The landscape is gorgeous, the food delicious, the ocean crystal clear, the shopping spots exciting and well, the food delicious.

I only eat halal/kosher remember? So anyplace that serves great seafood get extra beanie points from me. Why do you think I haven’t gone back to Bali since the first time? It is the pigs!! They were everywhere!! Babi guling here, babi guling there! What do you expect me to eat during my holidays? Maggi mee? Aiyoo.. I have enough of those during the nights that I am lazy to cook. And that is like… every other night, ok!

This time around we would like to take Miki to the River Safari as he loves animals very much and we want him to be a tough kid. Too much hanging out at the mall makes us weak. Once in while we all need to get back to nature.

I found out about this Sabah River Cruise/ River Safari during the recent Matta Fair and loved the idea about wildlife watching especially fireflies! Miki has never seen those, it would be a great experience for him. But I know very little about this activity.

Anybody has been on similar trip care to share experiences with me?

Another question that I was hoping somebody might answer to me – Has anybody died while snorkeling? Because I am afraid of water monsters but I would like to try.

OMG what about sharks? Is there any sharks in Sabah waters? *pengsan*
