Thank you for your concern, I did not die

If you happen to try accessing this blog yesterday, I am sure you have noticed that my web hoster has made an implication that Azman did not pay the bills.

That is not true. The blog was konked because :-

email
Yes, we are the reason for the hoster’s server gone kaput for one hour. And because they are such a meanie, they suspended our blogs since Friday afternoon till Sunday. In order for them to unsuspend our account, they had to ruin their engineer’s weekend, call him to sit in front of the server while Azman de-activate some of the plug-ins in the blog and optimized all our mySQL databases. We are kinda meanie too. hehe

There has been a huge increase of visitors to our blogs lately, it got something to do with the ManUtd coming to town and somebody CALLING ME KAMPUNG, I think. That is the reason for the whole thing. Anyway, the blog is back to normal. Thanks for visiting.

Whole Lotta Baby Girls

If all of the time that I spent thinking about this can be put together, I think I can get about an hour or two. Precious one hour or two that could be used for doing better stuff like trimming my bushy brows or collecting the toys strewn across the back seat of my car. Because seriously after that I can start to look like a decent homo sapien while opening a new branch of Toy R Us selling used playthings. But instead of doing all those productivity, I have been wondering why all of my friends seem to be having babies. Like all of them, all at once! For the past three years I have congratulated so many new moms and dads, I can be nominated as the main accelerator for the greetings card industry. And wrapping paper industry! And guess what, that group of newbie mommies are including me!!

Then it came to my senses that I have emerged to the era of mental maturity and wisdom or in other words my friends and I are NOT SO FREAKING YOUNG ANYMORE! YOU ARE ALREADY IN YOUR LATE 20s. THAT IS WHY ALL OF YOU ARE HAVING BABIES! WHAT IS SO PUZZLING ABOUT THAT?

Did I say my friends and I? Well actually it’s just my friends. I am 21.
Anywayyyyy…..

I wish I could list all of my friends with their newborns here but then the list will get too long and I have always have trouble with long lists. I abandon them. With curses. So lemme jot down the youngest three okay? Internet, my sincerest congratulations to:-

Azliza and Beskot for baby girl Dhia Batrisya
Nahreem for baby girl Yusreen Daania
Yasmin and Apai for baby girl Arissa Dania
Elis’ brother for another daughter named Nur Dayana

Hip hip hooray!!!

Went to the hospital the other day visit Aizam’s new born daughter and he says he plans to name her Nadia. This morning, a senior manager dropped by my cubicle to ask what is the meaning of Yang. Yang that comes after my first name – Diyana.

After I vomit ten buckets of blood (I get this sickness whenever I am asked the same question more then 10 zillion times) I told him it means The Most Gorgeous and Devine Woman with the Cutest Smile but with Tendency to Go Meroyan at Slow and Stupid Waiters. Then the manager went “Oh really?” with his eyes twinkling with happiness and contentment because he has found The Name he shall give his fourth baby ( a girl) that will be born soon – Diyana Yang.

I AM NOT KIDDING. His first daughter’s name is Dania and he saw my full name in the emails and he loves it so much he is naming his kid AFTER ME! Just like Azliza, Nahreem, Yasmin, Elis’s brother, and Aizam, they will not admit it if you ask but seriously, Dhia? Daania? Dania? Nadia? Dayana???

Mengaku je lah… those names are all inspired by ME! Your sengalest of all friends! Hehehehehheheheh!!! Congratulations all!

The Manchester United vs Malaysia Tickets

The news of Manchester United’s Asian Tour plagues our household deadlier than the H1N1 in the US. There was nothing in the world that my husband could talk about but the MU coming to town and kicking our local team on the butt hard. He has been working on his blog more, entertaining dozens and dozens of queries from MU fans from all over the globe and he has been getting really cool offers too but the wife and child is slowly left behind.

Tidak mengapalah. Isterimu pasrah. Kalau abang lapar nanti amiklah jersey-jersey bola tu buat sandwich dengan kiwi kasut. Yesterday night we went to Al-Ikhsan in Subang Parade to get the tickets. When the young punk behind the register announced that they are sold out, I had to replaced Azman to do the talking. Because he had frozen solid. You should see the way blood drained from his face and it turned pucat kelabu asap.

I was afraid too. I cannot have Miki growing up without his father because his father is away in Tanjung Rambutan because he missed the Malaysia vs ManUtd game. So I offered to help get the tickets from Al-Ikhsan in Alamanda Putrajaya today.

Which I did. I went with Farali, another devoted wife to devoted Manchester United fan, battling the piercing hot sun from the office to the parking lot, dealt with the amazingly many people in Alamanda that uses their kneecaps for thinking and finally ran so brutally fast to the sports store and HOORAY we got the tickets!

Manchester United Tickets Asian Tour

Farali and I pun dengan penuh kegembiraan berjalan-jalan manja berpegangan tangan kegirangan pulang ke pejabat dengan hati berbunga-bunga. Tomorrow we have to go again to pick up the training passes. Have you gotten your tickets? Tickets are available at RM308 (Grand stand – Numbered seat); RM98 (1st & 2nd row – Free seating); RM68 (Upper row – Free seating) and RM58 (Behind goal post – Free seating).
See you at the game!
