When we went to Langkawi in early January, we have taken so many photos and I love almost all of them. They are all absolutely goofy and funny and entirely NONE are pretty. Or at least portray the pretty side of me. Actually you are meant to never find the pretty sides of me because… umm.. well MY DAD HAVE BURIED THEM! With the placenta that I was born with.. 21 years ago! Damn!
Anyway…
Here are some of the pictures taken on the boat ride from Langkawi Island to Pulau Dayang Bunting (Pregnant Maiden Island) and on the island itself. For those who haven’t been there, the hills on the island create an illusion of a pregnant lady thus the name of the island. Can you make out the shape here?

Our island hopping trip started very early in the morning, so we had to wake the baby and drive up to the beach side where the boats were waiting. Miki was actually very-very sleepy but he was so cool and instead of getting all cranked up he just got amazingly obedient! And when I asked him to smile to the camera, Miki gave me this look. Haha I think he looked so cartoonish in this photo… His grin could have just been Photoshoped!! ?

Miki is not into camwhoring so much when sleepy…

Oh no! There is magic on the lake! Beware!
From the jetty we need to do a little bit of hiking on the stone steps and then down towards the amazingly beautiful Lake Dayang Bunting. The water was deep emerald, and calm ripples reflects the sun so captivatingly. The lake is outlined with green lush hills and at that time the wind was blowing so refreshingly THAT MY HAIR TURNED INTO A FREAKING MESS.
The local authorities ( I think) have built platforms on the edge of the lake to create a safer swimming environment. They even provide changing rooms for men and women, and a little pool for children. It blemish the scenery yes, but to accommodate many visitors at one time, I believe the facilities are much needed. Here is Miki splashing like nobody’s business in the kiddy pool. The water was teeming with fish. It was a unique experience. Other kids, tourists from all over the globe I figured, saw how excited Miki was and immediately join him waddling the cool water too! Haha..

After some time, Miki got over-excited and tried to drink the clear water, we pulled the allegedly sleepy baby from the lake, he wriggled and squirmed, wanted more splashing but when your parents say you are done, then you are done kid! I was dead scared, you know if you drink some of the lake water, you might conceive soon thereafter? What if Miki pass the magical curse to me? Hey, I have already burnt my entire maternity underwear okay!
After we have change the baby and gave him a warm bottle, I took Miki for a walk on the platforms, enjoying the view that Mother Earth has created, and looking at the tourists too. There was a Hispanic lady with enormous fake boobs that I thought can only be found in Akon videos. There was about 20 retired Americans size of an African hippopotamus and wearing bathing suits size of Malaysian postage stamps. Then when I look into the water, I saw something more spectacular! There were many people swimming but this one particular head (the rest of the body was underwater) that I know so well!
KAK INA!!!!!

I screamed at her!! What the hell girl! How come we never bumped into each other at KLCC and yet I saw your head bumping up and down the water like dugong mermaid in TASIK DAYANG BUNTING, LANGKAWI?! We laughed so hard and boy oh boy.. it was hilarious!
Hahahahaha…. It was kinda ironic, the pink shirt I was wearing said ‘I LOVE MY CRAZY FRIENDS’. Hahaha, amik ko kan dah jumpa kawan giler ko tengah-tengah hutan rimba tu. Hehe We were so happy to meet with each other we couldn’t help ourselves but to melompat-lompat kegedikan kegirangan!

PS- Bani dilarang memberi sebarang komen tentang aksi lompat katak Kak Ina dan lompat mendatak aku ye?

Oh well, this is one of the unique places that I would like to go again… ?
