8 tips on buying a used car

It always hard to find a used car because there’s just so much to check, from interior wear and tear to maintenance history. So here, I would like to share 8 tips on what to check when searching for used car.

1. Low mileage: Given the choice between two virtually identical cars with dissimilar mileage, pick the lower mileage car. Lower miles are a benefit if you resell, and provide more extended warranty eligibility at a better price.

2. High spec. and accessories increase selling prospects: High spec car in better than low spec car. Loaded used cars cost more, but deliver desirable options for much less than original cost. Well- optioned, deluxe models are easier to resell than base models of the same vehicle.

3. Check with the popular crowd: If you plan to resell, consider popularity factors. Well- equipped high-demand cars in popular colors are always the easiest to resell.

4. Learn about the previous owner: Find out the number of previous owners. Ideally, a 2 year-old-car should have one owner, and a five-year-old car shouldn’t have more than two owners. More owners may be a warning sign. Beware of missing or inconsistent service records.

5. Protect your investment: The remainder of the original manufacturer’s warranty can usually be transferred. For example buying from a seller such as Used Cadillacs Harrisburg PA. With them, you can get 6 years and 100k miles from when it was new and has NO deductible. You also receive up to 72-months/100k miles Road Side assistance. Also 6 months of free Onstar (only on properly equipped vehicles)! There is even more with 3 months free XM radio. In short, their Cadillac warranty customers receive the same privileges, benefits and premium treatment that new Cadillac customers receive.

6. Get everything in writing:Especially price, terms, repairs, and/or trade-ins. This should be clearly written into the sales agreement.

7. Know what you’re buying: In general, you should stay away from cars with a negative history. Examples include: Cars from natural disaster locales.

8. Do your homework: Research everything about the vehicles you have in mind. Read up on current trade-in and market value, safety ratings, consumer and professional reviews, and the options, mileage adjustment and condition of the car.

Prepare Yourself for the Unthinkable

About a year ago I was going through the statistic of this website and found something so insanely funny that I laughed so hard and uncontrollably; until Azman had to make me stop by stuffing my mouth with his socks. Until today I still cannot forget the hilarious search engine keyword and the smell of his socks. Its so haunting!

I know I still keep the screen shot somewhere; I will post it when it can be found.

Can somebody tell me who on earth would wanna do a search on ‘Kisah Kentut Yang Seram’ ( The Creepy Fart Story)? And how the hell could the result be this website? Either my actual page rank is damn high or my blog is indeed full of farts!

Whoever that person is, I don’t think he had gotten an accurate search result for none of my posts earlier are in regards to this. So I figured why not I write a creepy fart story – THERE ARE people who wants to read about it out there!

That’s the first and ultimate reason why I am writing this post today; the second reason on the other hand was triggered by an insult. By my laling Cik Puan Eintanz.

She said she would be buying my books if I write any because I sound like Sophie Kinsella. Sophie Kinsella???? What the heck!? All her books are about extremely gedik and bimboish girls with brains functioned perfectly fine from neatly beneath their knee caps.

I know! I have read one! and Eintanz relates this TO ME!!!??? Me?

I thought my scribbles are inspired by Stephen King? How can I be reading the whole of Stephen King’s collection and only one of Kinsella’s and I ended up sounding like her. This is pure madness!

Prepare yourself now Eintanz! A ghost story is coming up… Diyana/Stephen King style..in the next post.
