As I said before, there’re so many things that I like about Firefox. This time, I would like to show another great stuff.

Smart Keywords

This is an easy way for you to search any websites right from the Location bar. Example, normally if you would like to look up things at Wikipedia, you go to wikipedia.org, select your language, then enter whatever you’re searching for and click ‘Search‘. Lots of clicking and lots of steps.

With Wikipedia Smart Keyword, you can just type “wiki searchitem” into Firefox’s Location bar; hit Enter and be taken right to the result.

Cool isn’t it??

Existing smart keywords that you can use are “wiki” for wikipedia; “google” for google.com and “dict” for dictionary.com.

How to create your own Smart Keywords?

It is very easy. Visit the page that has the ’search field’ that you would like to search something ( for example diyanazman.com search engine ). Right click on the ’search field’. Then choose ‘Add a Keyword for this Search…’

‘Add Bookmark‘ dialog will appear !!

…..

Then, you give the bookmark a name, e.g diyanazman and after that you have to create a keyword e.g “diaz” and Save it in Quick Searches folder or Bookmark folder.

Now, for example, if you want to search the entry about the dangdut karaoke in diyanazman.com website. All you need to do is enter “diaz dangdut” into the Location bar and press Enter. Everytime you want to search anything from diyanazman.com, just enter keyword “diaz” followed by anything at all!!!

You are done!! Thats so easy!

You can repeat the steps above for any website search you want to add. Why dont you try with this website now!

Last saturday we had a small bbq and karaoke party at our place… The food was awesome and the company was super duper awsome..Thanks Rena, Azam, Suzy & Zariq, Dina & Ross and not forgetting Nize for coming. You guys are really great!!! It was so much fun!

Azman and I have too many friends and too small a house. Our parties and get-togethers have always been a separate account for my friends from school, his friends from UM, my friends from UM, my colleagues and so on… hehehe.. Need to get bigger house soon I guess.. :p

Last whole week, I was working with our Japanese designer from the HQ. We’re working on a new product design for 29″ deflection yoke (DY) for CRT TV. His name is Akio Murata and he’s the only Sony DY designer left in Japan. To me, thats nothing shocking because I’m also the one and only DY Designer left in Malaysia. That leaves just the two of us designing DY for Sony in the whole world.

I really believe that WWF should have come to catch and label both of us as ‘rare species’. They must put us side by side with the Panda bear before it’s too late.

On top of that,WWF should take care of me a lot more because I’m a lot younger than old Murata-san. He’s already 57 years old !! I hold higher chances for survival and can live longer.hahaha..

However, I have accepted the fact that WWF does not even bother to save our species because the world nowadays loves the new hybrid called LCD.

This new hybrid is not friendly with us at all in fact they eat us designers one by one in silence and wipe out our population. Shockingly, we seem to love being eaten by this new hybrid and I do hope I’ll get eaten soon and officially mark the completion of my species extinction..yeeaaahhh..
