My husband’s cat Si Cemong, holds a very special place in his heart. Often I find myself second compared to flourish amount of love and attention Azman is showering the animal. He can spend a long time explaining to me what beautiful black stripes Cemong has, and how graceful it can be while making a mess out of the clothes I have folded in my wardrobe.
Si Cemong is one greedy spoilt cat. I spent exactly 30 seconds to walk from my seat to the kitchen, get the ketchup bottle and come back to the dining table just to find my share of chicken for dinner has disappeared.
My husband, who claims to love me till the end of time witnessed it all. He saw how the nasty feline leaped from the floor and snatched my precious fried drumstick, gobble the juicy tender flesh down its throat and yet he did not move an inch of his muscles to stop it.
He did not shoo the cat away, he did not spare me my dinner. Instead he picked up the left over chicken bone, put it neatly on his very own plate and described all this to me in vivid details. Oh how my heart was shattered! Si Cemong and I are cherished by the same man!
The love Azman has for his cat is sometimes just unbelievable. It took me half an hour of interrogation and finally an offer to assist him reach his credit card limit at Naf Naf just to get him confessed it was Si Cemong who broke my two coffee mugs here. If I hadn’t pulled the credit card trick he would still stubbornly insist that he has no freaking idea who did it.
I have now come to a point where I feel the need to strangle the cat to death. I cannot take this anymore. Interference of a cat in my happy marriage is too much for me.
I must put this to a stop. The cat has tangled itself way too deep between the two of us but God help I do not know how to make AZMAN DITCH HIS IMAGINARY CAT!It has started to make appearance in his cartoons for goodness sake!!!What scares me the most is this….
A group of cat breeder has been working together to create a designer cat that was bred specifically to preserve the beauty of a tiger called “Sumatra Cat” or “Toygers” ! In other words, these breeders are creating Garfield sized Shere Khan tiger replica that can be purchased at USD3000 each. It also has been registered with International Cat Association (TICA) since 1993 . This May they will join more familiar purebred felines, such as Persians and Siamese, that can be judged as championship cats at TICA-sponsored cat shows. Luckily non is auctioned in E-bay, else there goes my this year birthday present…

Si Cemong does not exist. Its just a mere excuse Azman and I use to defend ourselves when we make cat-like mess in the house..hehe

Yup..its a new breed of cat called Toygers. The breeders are still in the development stage of creating domestic kitties that look like Sumatran Tiger.
When we saw the Toyger in National Geographic; we (Azman) was shocked because it looks exactly like the imaginary Si Cemong he has had in mind.. hehehe
nothing wrong with it rite?..i love calvin & hobbes so much..and si cemong just like hobbes..fuuhhh…
start feeding your azman with super supreme tuna diet, than slowly add some “air rebusan akar kayu”. the chemong will sure go away one.
