Giant Bandar Kinrara vs Tesco Puchong
Last week, Giant Hypermarket opened their 100th branch in Bandar Kinrara, Puchong. It’s situated just less than 1km away from our house. Very near however during its opening day on 23rd August 2007, it took me more than 2 hours to get out from their parking lot to our home!!
Since, Tesco Puchong is just about 5 km from there; we can assure stiff competition between those 2 hypermarkets.
The first sign for the battle of supremacy is the signboard;
You can see this Tesco Puchong signboard at Bukit Jalil (Sg. Besi/Puchong) highway. It’s trying tell you that Tesco Puchong is just 5.7km away.
After you drive for another 100m, you can see another signboard. This time from Giant Bandar Kinrara. It says why travel 5.6km when theres another hypermarket just a hundred km away…

aku tak suka pi giant sebab arash suka paksa aku beli kat die mainan.
kalau pi tesco lak depa suka paksa aku beli kan eskem.
lebih baik aku pi mini marker chin teik hin.

aku suka gi tesco sbb cashier kaunter nombor ** cun gilerrrrr. tapi aku suka shopping kat Pasaraya Borong sbb depan rumah aku jer dan ada jual favorite snack aku iaitu kaya ball…hidup kaya ball!!!!!!

u memang berani, braving your way there on opening day some more! eh, but the building looks good. like how the glass facade ’shines’ at night. quite un-hypermarket i must say, when they are usually presented as a block of concrete, warehouse style.

..tapi tesco s.alam..sanggup tutup kul 12mlm-1pagi, berbanding giant s.alam (*sebagai contoh lahhh..) dan tapi..adapun mini market jugak lah tempat aku pigi satu dua ketul barang… :sinchan: kepeh2 3 kali kenyit mata cashier cun yg bani cakap itu..!!

Hi…first time here
Great website. I also live close to these 2 hypermarts. There’s another Giant at Bandar Puteri kan? I usually go to that one but now the new one is nearer 
Haven’t been there before cos I heard it’s packed like sardines since the 1st day. I also go to Tesco sometimes cos I like their home brands. Cookies are yummy and cheap ;D

Thanks for visiting my website… yeah, b4 this Giant Bandar Puteri is where we always do our shopping but now the Kinrara one is much2 nearer and has got a covered car park… I like Tesco for its kampung vegetables… you know like ulam and stuff…hehe

erm… tesco lg best… giant kat bandar kinrara tue cashier dia lembab nak mampus… siap cover2 cun… menyampah aku… beratur bayar jer berejam…
parking susah… prefer tesco… tak kisah la tesco s lam ker, ampang ker… puchong ker.. selesa skit… lagi satu… harga dia mcm mahal skit klu banding dgn care4… just nak share bad expirience at Giant bandar kinrara… hahaha.., sumpah tak nak pg dah kat situe…

for me, giant kinrara is better than tesco puchong coz they got Kluang station which an alternative to Starbucks and also got fews small stalls which selling kids stuff. giant also sell marinate lamb…and tesco dont. but i love tesco coz it is very near to my place…also got many ‘rare’ things like coffee,snacks…hehheee…anyway…..visit my other blogs:http://pewangi.blogspot.com
