Self Cruelty in Aidilfitri

Received a call from my tailor today asking which ones from the 7 or 8 sets of fabrics that I sent to her are my Baju Raya. She was only gonna start knitting tonight. After I sent my fabrics to her some 4 months ago. And Raya is less than a week away from now. I got a pretty bad feeling inside my gut. I seriously hope that luck will be on my side this year and I won’t ended up a circus freak like last year.
Fret not, I have got myself a ready-made baju kurung in case my tailored ones turned out crappy. I was rather pleased to find one quite pretty and very-very affordable but then again….
Am I being too cruel to myself??
Mummy’s Baju Kurung: Length - 5 feet, Material - Silk, Price - RM35.00
Son’s Onesie Shirt : Length - 27inch, Material - Cotton, Price - RM85.00
That’s not very fair, isn’t it?

Being a mom, I think we (at least I) could not afford to not to spend more and more to our kid.
So, it is not fair, but justified.

oh wee, baju miki tu teramat la cute! i love it! so its justified sgt sgt babe. and owh, mana you dapat baju kurung yg teramat affordable harganya? its nice and sweet too..tapi tak secool baju miki okayy

Mimielola… do u hesitate when purchasing an expensive item for yourself but never think at all when getting you kid a costly thing that he doesnt need? there are times when i pity myself… miki got more stuff than i do?!

nope definitely not fair. sikit kain saja tapi cost rm85.00. sigh….that’s one of the sacrificies for being a mom

Diyana…biasalah tu…mak ayah akan beralah dengan harga baju anak yang lebih mahal…hehehe…tapi memang tak fair…
4 bulan tak siap lagi? Memang tak patut tailor tu….hehehe…gelak akak bila diyana cakap macam circus freak…

aku ni, mujoq kakak aku punya tailor terjahit baju kurung dia terBESAQ so kakak aku yg suka menyeksi itu berputuih asa dan pass kat aku…
and mak aku tak puas hati dgn kealpaan aku tlh bernekad beli kat aku baju raya…
oh tidak dah tua2 bangka ni still mak aku beli huhuh
