Luth Mikael Took His First Step!

He did!!! Yes, he did!! Today 17th December 2008, on his 11th month birthday!!! First he stand up facing his Daddy then he turned his body towards me and took the long-awaited step!!!
I am so proud of our little baby! He has brought so much joy in our lives with his mischievous antics, his sweet smile, his giggles and wit!
His vocalbulary has expanded too! Now Miki can say these words with full comprehension:-
1. Cat (kucing)
2. Dehdey (Daddy)
3. Buahh (Buah/Fruit)
4. Tupp (Tutup/Close)
5. Ukak (Buka/Open)
6. Byebyebye (Bye Bye)
7. Duck (Itik)
8. Tettettettet ( sound of bird chirping)
9. Cak! ( peekaboo)
He repeats after people talking too! A lot!! Even difficult words like ‘tak best’, ‘jauh’, ‘daun’, ‘blast off!’ (while doing actions The Little Einsteins do) etc. But he doesn’t understand those words so they don’t count.
He sings his own gibberish lyrics in tune with us to The Hot Dog Song (while clapping hands), Puk Amai-Amai and the melodic la ilaha Illalah ( as we try to put him to sleep). I think that is just uber adorable!
Monday however was a little emotional. After spending the weekend with his grandmother (my mom) around, Miki had search the house for his Opah after she had gone back home. In the car, I asked mana Opah? And he automatically turn to search the back seat. He even peeped and said Cak! But Opah was not there. That broke and filled my heart with love all at the same time.
Mummy and Daddy loves you Mikael! May Allah bless you always!
Happy 11th month birthday, my son!

Yay…well done little one. Boy, he’s real fast. Can’t believe he is saying words and he is not even 1 yet!!! btw, the kenny roger meals look yummy

acat, thru my experience with the active boy, you would need to childproof your house as soon as the baby gets mobile – crawl!
Miki bump his head everywhere… tapi tak nangis la pulak walaupun benjol2… huhuhu giler tahan sakit…
