Weekend in Malacca with The Culprits

Blogging from the lobby of Puteri Resort, Ayer Keroh, Melaka. We are spending the weekend here mainly because today 7th June 2009, we will be attending Azman’s best buddy AbulChabau’s long awaited wedding.
We have been here in the historical city since yesterday with our two more friends of ours THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED. Their names cannot be mentioned because once I utter those names, they will be accompanied with a long melodious string of obscenities and Miki is currently very good at mimicking everything I say.
Last night these two culprits have make us drove from Ayer Keroh all the way to Merlimau, battling traffic jams and ridiculous Malaccan drivers to find the ultimate sea food eating place on planet earth. The restaurant was located across the river that is connected by a bridge so narrow only one car can drive through at one time. With our tummy growling we arrived there just to find all the food have sold out.
Then we walked to another restaurant nearby and they have ran out of food too. The third restaurant that we went has a couple of fish that the cats in Bandar Kinrara have for teatime snack. Cats in Teluk Kumbaq would take a sniff at them and vomit blood. It was getting late and Miki was so hungry he was chewing on his daddy’s arm.
We get back into the car and drove in the pitch of darkness to Anjung Batu Seafood and finally they have something nice too offer. We sat down, order the food and while waiting for our dinner my face turned cobalt, Azman’s turned azure. Of starvation. The food came more than one hour later.
Luckily the food came delicious and very affordable. Still I cannot bring myself to breath the two seafood genius’ name without feeling like killing somebody.
Here are some photos of Miki taken yesterday at the hotel. It is a very nice hotel with lovely pool. I must end now cause I need to join him and Azman in the water. Daa~

Dah sampai di Melaka rupanya diyana…
Hmmm…kalau musim cuti sekolah ni kawasan makan ikan bakar tu memang penuh dengan pengunjung…pastu kereta di bandar Melaka jgn cakap le…sana sini jam…kadang kalau akak balik melaka musim cuti lebih suka ke mana2 dengan motor aje.
Kat Anjung Batu tu memang ikan bakarnya sedap…heheheh…takpelah tunggu lebih sejam…berbaloi lah jugak sebab makanan dia sedap…

intan, bani (bukan nama sebenar) pun kuciwa ya amats…ikan bakar tu tak la berapa sedap di kedai terakhir yg terpaksa kitaorg makan dan tunggu lebih sejam tu. nasib baik la murah….

Kak Anie, wah dah lama akak tak jenguk blog saye ni ye… mmg betul kak anie oii jam teruk nya negeri melake tu!! sakit kepala dibuatnya… dah la kelaparan, semua orng lain pun nak makan ikan bakar jugak!! sabar jelahhhh….
