Siri Bercakap Dengan Miki – Biar hantap jangan hansap
Feb 22nd 2010DiyanaLuth Mikael Share
On our way out to dinner just now, Miki hopped into the car with his Daddy and I stayed outside while Azman drive the car out into the drive way. Then I would close the gate (yes we don’t have auto-gate) before joining them in the car.
I saw Miki waving at me while the car was in reverse and apparently my pint size lil kiddo said “Bye bye Mummy! Tinggal Mummy! Padan muka Mummy tu… Ngada-ngada Mummy tu kan??”
He even got the nerve to ask his Daddy if I was mengada-ngada aka pretentiously annoying aka over-acting? I am a drama queen, Miki! What do you expect from your own Mom? Tampar kang?
As I was carrying him when we walked to the restaurant, he said “Mummy ni hantap!”.
In Perak, it is inappropriate to say that a baby or small child that we are carrying is heavy or berat but instead we use the term hantap. But it was me carrying him, how can he say I am hantap?? Eiii.. ko nak kata Mummy gemukkk ehh Miki??? Nak kena? Nak kena?
Back home we cuddled on the couch while reading his new story book, about a frog that has forgotten how to swim. I read with full enthusiasm “Little Froggy was sobbing, big drops of tears was falling down from his eyes and…..”
A small voice eagerly completed the sentence “….frog tu nangis Mummy! Frog tu ngada-ngada sangat!!”
*Pengsan*
Dia guna perkataan tu lagiiii… Siapa ajar ni???
Lesson of the day – Biar hantap jangan mengada-ngada!
