The great busy weekend

It is 10min to midnight, I cannot believe my terrific weekend is coming to an end. This weekend is particularly hectic but so much fun. Totally no rest for Diyanazman, but that’s how we like it.

On Friday night we watched Shrek 3. Miki’s gaze and attention was glued to the screen from the trailer of Prince of Persia to the end of the hilarious movie. I have noticed that Miki loves action movies like Clash of the Titans more than kiddy weenie movies like Furry Vengeance starring Brandon Fraser that we watched a couple of weeks ago. Bahaya betul if someday he decides to start to belasah mak pak dia macam hero tu belasah monster… perghh

Anyway Miki enjoyed Shrek and so did we. The movie was very entertaining especially Donkey that keeps talking reDonkeylously funny stuff, I cannot help but laugh out loud throughout the movie.

On Saturday, the first thing that we did was find a car tyre center to fix my punctured back tyre.  Apparently the geniuses behind some tyre center/tow truck had thrown nails on the road and ME!! of all people ME! telah melanggar paku-paku itu!!! Aghhhhh….!!!

We found three sparkling new nails in my tyre and we ended up changing all 4. To the aspired tyre businessmen that threw the nails, I highly respect you genius marketing scheme! And for that excellent efforts, my middle finger rise to salute you!

Nasib baik tayar memang botak so tukar jelah..

Then we went to a lights distributor in PJ to purchase ceiling fans for our living rooms and kitchen. Shopping for stuff for the house can be so much fun for me these days but so for Azman because when I am browsing for the things he would need to look after Miki and that’s world second difficult thing to do after taking care of a barrel of volatile radioactive substance. You let it out of your grip for one second and you will be in such catastrophe.

Ini lah budak ternakal di muka bumi. I tried to take his photo but he hid behind plastic bag..

But even Mr Cute Catastrophe can fall asleep, Miki fell asleep after we were surveyed more lights for the house at stores along Old Klang Road. And he slept and slept in the car while we go the house for a discussion with the contractor and he slept and slept in the car while we had teh tarik at our favourite Mamak’s.

On Saturday night I treated Azman dinner at Kabab and Baryani restaurant in Precinct Diplomatic Putrajaya. I like that place. Then we wanted to lepak at Dataran Putra in front of Putrajaya Mosque but it was closed for maintenance so we parked our car by the bridge near my office and that’s when Miki started to run. He ran from Menara PJH to Dataran Putra and back. His parents almost died of exhaustion by the lil kid selamba kodok berlari jauh gilerrrrrrr

vimto arabic drinks

Azman tried this Arabic soft drink, pictures of the briyani are not available sebab tak sempat tangkap dan abih licin. hehe

Sunday morning was late one and we went to get the pendant lights from the store in Puchong. We have looked all over Klang Valley up until Nilai but that store still have the things that I fancy. We bought three identical pendants lights for our living room and one super long lampu bulat2 for the stairway. Still missing are one wall light and one pendant for the dining room. It was funny at the store, since the promoter has recognized us and he knew that we came to really buy not just surveying, we became a subject of high value dan promoter itu berebut-rebut nak layan kitorang hahahaha! And I gave the sales commission to the Bangla sebab macam kesian dia Bangla.. huhu

kedai lampu di puchong

Lampu kitorang yang sempoii jek bukan nya yg macam atas kepala Azman tu.. Yang tu mahal tahap kereta perisai Gaban tu…Kelihatan Miki sedang menyibuk2..

Other than that we had still have a dozen things to finalize with the contractor and another dozen things to purchase for the house. And that got me dead tired so by 4pm we went back and I took great one and a half hour snooze, only awaken by Miki jumping on my tummy asking me to take him to the park.

We went to the beautiful Taman Bukit Jalil, I packed some food so we had tea at the park. Miki fed the fishes in the lake with bread and did more walking. I am rather pleased that we had a lot of exercise this week. A LOT!! I wish we can do this everyday but obligations doesn’t permit.

For dinner we went to ioi mall and because my company provides suits and jacket allowance for staff every 3 years I went work clothes shopping at MNG outlet. I bought a pair of suit, a jacket and two skirts and I am happpyyyyyyyyy…… The skirts are so delicious!

I was so really excited when I checked my Facebook and found my friend Shima has tagged on snapshots of pages from FEMALE magazine June 2010 edition FEATURING ME! I will write more about that and tomorrow I foresee another great day despite having to work. Happy Monday everybody…
