Kite Flying in Queensbay, Penang

Miki flown his first kite on his second birthday, 17 January 2010. Yes, it takes Mummy 8 months to write about it her blog, but I guess it is better late than never… When the burglars broke in our house last week, they took 3 of our cameras and two notebook computers as well. It saddened me a great deal that I almost cried but luckily Azman was such a genius to have all our photos backed up in external hard disks.

You see, they could steal all the valuables that we have. But all these are things that money can buy. Memories with our son Miki, however, is something too precious and priceless, that not a single minutes of the 2 years we have been spending with him, I would let myself forget.

If Azman hadn’t kept a copy of all the photos and  videos, I guess there is no way for us to revisit the moment when Miki hold his first kite and flying it so high like a pro! Thanks to the beautiful windy afternoon at Queensbay, Penang.

My son, 24 months old

Miki’s first kite. Bought for RM5. Now safely kept at home and soon his Daddy will frame it and have it displayed in his room.

It was such a beautiful day, there were dozens of kites cruising in the blue sky…. We couldnt take our eyes off them.

Miki’s cousin Adam was there too, in the beginning we bought only one kite for him thinking Miki wouldn’t want or wouldn’t know how to play with it. But Miki was so smart, he understood the whole kite flying concept and of course, snatched the kite away from Adam and we had to buy another one. :)

Miki and Mummy

Short curls still…

Mummy ternganga macam anak burung…

Happy kid! Our pride and joy…

Having this close to losing all our pic database… For the sake of memories, I think I will upload more photos in this blog…
