Cinta sudah berputik ya?

I have three morning boosts everyday. One is the smell of Miki and Azman cuddling beside me on the bed when I wake up. Two; a steaming hot cuppa coffee and three; fresh air in my little garden.

Little splashes of color have began to appear in my garden now. You know I love petunias. In below pic, the pot is hanging above the terrace with pretty maroon flowers and white stripes.

I also have these Kamunting flowers growing on the ground. Purplish pink and white each. Very easy to plant and never stop flowering.

But what really makes my morning today is when I saw my Elegant Zinnia (yes that is the name of the flower, sesuai ditanam oleh orang yang elegan sahaja hua hua hua) has a tiny flower bud ready to bloom in a day or two. I have 6 zinnia plants and all them are growing flowers at the same time! It is so exciting for me because unlike the petunia, I grew them from seeds in late September/October. They have survived slugs (siput babi yang sangat babi), ferocious eating bunny rabbits and bad weather. And now in the mid of Dec, colorful blooms will appear! Yay!

Elegant Zinnia flower bud. I dont know what color will the flower be. Either orange or red.

When Azman reads this entry, I know what he would say – Poyo aa Diyana, aku yang siram pokok bunga dia tiap-tiap hari… Hahahah.. yelah bang oi! Memang Azman is the one who waters all the plants every morning. While I would be busy washing my hair! LoL. Have a nice day everyone – this is entry berbunga sempena hatiku yang berbunga-bunga jugak… :p

  1. adakah azman menyiraminya setelah mendengar rengekan manja hang ataupun laungan halilintar dgn pitching mariah carey?

  2. waaa….mak i kalau jumpa u mesti sukaaaa…sembang pasal pokok. dan juga mesti dia cakap dalam ati, diyana ni kalau jadi anak aku kan bagus.

  3. haha..that’s what my husband says too. He complains that I always say I like gardening, but he’s always the one who do the watering. Yalah tu…who else will cook dinner for him while he waters the plants eh ? 😛 It’s always exciting to watch your flowers bloom when you’ve planted it yourself! It sure feels like a big achievement.

  4. Firethorn!!!!
Yay! Finally I have found another gardening enthusiast (although with husband’s assistance)!! i just went to ur blog and check out you gardening category but only 2 entries in 2009! *faints*ehehehe…do write about it ok! 🙂 like u my husband also has a compost bin and now working on his spray-on organic fertalizer using grass clipping. and u are right… wife cooks (when was the last time I cook? hmmmm) husband tends the garden! :p
    happy gardening!

  5. eintanz, walaupun u mengeji I kerana makcik-makcik… tapi i pasrah… kim salam kat your mum.. kalau i berjaya biakkan petunia sepasu nanti i hadiah kat dia satu..

  6. di, sgt envy wif your garden. love the kamunting! bunga tu ada kat kampung i je dulu. nostalgia sungguh bila tgk bunga tu!

tangan i panas. tanam serai pon mati! tp my dad sgt suka gardening n sgt terer bercucuk tanam. he’s coming over to my place this weekend. agenda utama – nak suh dia tanam cili padi kat umah i. cili padi adalah mahal untuk dibeli di pasar hikhik..

  7. this one is lovely 🙂

i always find it’s not because of the thing in your posting that keeps me a returning reader to ur blog diyana but how u conveyed it. there’s this “sophie kinsella” inside u that makes reading ur blog…joyful

  8. ehhh i tak keji okeh, i suka. i pun sayangkan pokok2 kat umah i yg mak i biakkan tu (biak ke?) tapi i tak di anugerahkan green fingers. tak menjadi. kalau mak i balik kampung i susah ati sapa nak jaga pokok2 yg dia biak tu (biak ke?) laen kali i tau dah, panggil diyanazman nursery. boley?

p/s – i nak sgt2 petunia tu. u dah janji so kena bagi i tuntut!
