Aftermath of the morning sickness : Part 1

Before morning sickness :

Until mid April 2007, I was up and about running my energetic butt everywhere! I could run forever on the treadmill before jumping on the gym bike and the later jump into the pool for a cooling dip. I would go hiking in the hills on weekends and not miss my favorite body jam classes on Fridays. I didn’t get tired.

I could drag Azman for hours and hours of non stop walking from store to store in the big wide Midvalley. Right before I decided that perfect tank top is not available here so we need start a fresh new search in big wide long One Utama. I didn’t need to sit down.

I could go for a late night movie that ends at three and then hang out at the Mamak’s till the crack of dawn. I could abuse the karaoke machine with tuneless singing and dancing to Spice Girls all night long. I didn’t lose my breath.

In April I climbed a mountain. In fact I climbed the whole freaking tallest mountain in south east asia! And I didn’t get no altitude sickness, I didn’t even complain!!

After morning sickness :

On the 19th of August 2007, Sunday, Azman and I went to Bukit Jalil Park. From the parking lot we had ice cream and we walked to the pond and feed the fishes then we walked a bit more and we sat down watched the kids playing. Then we walked and I needed to sit down again. Then we walked to the car and go home.

On Monday 20th, the muscles on my calves hurt.

On Tuesday 21st, the muscles on my calves still hurt.

What has happened to me? Oh baby, please don’t do this to your mummy!

    it’s not what the baby is doing 2 u but it’s more like what u have been doing 2 ur body…
    can imagine u climbing up the tree…

    teringat plak aku time kita kat alamanda that day. hang kata pening, nak duduk sat… what a place to sit down, a shoes store… ended with buying kasut and haku pon nyaris2 terikut beli…

    bahaya sungguh aftermath hang tuh…

  2. Memang camtulah diyana….kalau perut tu dah besar…lagilah tak larat…tapi dulu kak lady semasa mengandungkan yang pertama & kedua…masih boleh berjalan kaki lebih 1km sehari sebelum bersalin…heheheh…tapi bila dah anak ke 4..39thn masa tu…bangun adoii…duduk adoii…lain bebnor rasanya…

  3. hehehhe…lek lek…normallah tuh..dulu jgn sorang2..skrg jalan carry org lain sama…mestilah penat. Sabar yeh….brp bulan jer lagi…ekekeke. Once dah give birth..u’ll c its all worth it…betol tak atie?? 😉
