The Stupid Zoo Closes at Six

We had a rather fun weekend. On Saturday I wanted to shop at MidValley but I believe all the other living organism in Klang Valley had shared the same agenda with me and flocked in the mall. Our car couldn’t even penetrate the parking lot so took a turn an went to Amcorp mall to check out our favourite book store and the flea market. The Atie called up asking us to join her, her husband Wan and her cheeky toddler Irfan at the zoo. I thought it’s a great idea because Miki had enjoyed his first time at Zoo Melaka several weeks ago besides Azman and I could use some exercise walking around the huge compound. So we battled the fierce MRR2 traffic and arrived at around 5. The moment we pulled over at the parking lot Atie called to tell us NOT TO PARK. The zoo would be closing at 6pm! Dang!!!

So we paid RM4 parking fee for nothing and headed back to MidValley where we shop shop shop at Isetan and had coffee and donuts at Big Apple. Then Miki poop and soiled his pants. Danggg!!

Mother and Son Mikaeel

Luth Mikael, 10 months old at Taman Warisan

On Sunday I wanted to go to Nik and Adi’s pool party at HillPark but other urgent matters didn’t permit. Sorry Nik! Next time ok! We had a very late lunch at Taman Warisan Putrajaya and Sate Kajang Samuri that usually very delicious, this time around was very tough to the teeth. I don’t know, maybe they have given me Sate Daging Gajah instead of Sate Daging Lembu. Danggg!! Then we took Miki on a walk in the orchard. He loves watching the birds fluttering about, I cannot imagine how he would react once he started to walk. We need to do a lot of chasing I foresee. Went to Alamanda later for some groceries. Miki behaved really well in the stroller so I did what I had loved to do since I was like 15 or 16… Try out many clothes in the fitting room. The only difference is I used to just try them out and be happy. Now that I am older, I try them out, purchase them and be happy. I bought this really gorgeous high-waist dress and a jump suit that makes me feel like Beyonce. Now I just need to think where would I wear those to. Can’t wear them to work though, the makcik-makcik Putrajaya would think that I am possessed and arrange for an exorcism. As we were leaving Alamanda we realized Miki had wee wee so much until his pants and rompers were wet! Dang!!!

That’s pretty much what I did during the weekend. A lot of happy shopping and diaper changing but every minute we spend with our son is nothing but rewarding.
