Salmon fillet with Lemon and Basil Recipe

Hi everyone.

In case any of you are wondering where I have been for the past week, well the answer is I am still around, alive and breathing. I just have this issue with my fingers. They keep logging in to Facebook and by the time I remember that I have a blog to update, my butt was already cramping from all the replying to comments. Not that I reply comments using my butt but yeah sometimes it takes buttocks to understand and stomach all the jokes and wicked nonsense in the social media.

Well, I am warning up now and trying to update this blog regularly again. Let’s start with food shall we? Hehe. After all food always warms ME up! The other day I made Baked Salmon with Lemon and Basil.

Here is how I made it :-

I grounded some garlic, white peppercorn and salt finely. Yes, I added salt in the lesung batu that I was using so that the salt will dissolve in the garlic’s essential oil evenly. Then add generous amount of lemon juice into the mix with olive oil.

Place the salmon fillet on the baking tray, in my case I just couldn’t be bothered to dig into my cabinets looking for my tray I just grabbed my tudung periuk made in Siam tu je… muahahaha

Rub the marinate onto the perfectly thawed fish and then sprinkle chopped basil (I used dried, fresh ones tak tanam lagi) generously on the fillets.

Baked in preheat oven at 200deg for 30 minutes. And then serve with lemon slices.

Orang lain masak pakai Pyrex, Visions, Corningware, Corelle bagai aku pakai tudung periuk uols! *pengsan* Tapi kan… yang pakai Corningware tuuu masak sedap kerrr???? Atau yang penting…. MASAK KER??? *lariiiiiiiiii*

Ya ampun bulan Syawal… maaf zahir batin ye makcik Jenab! Muahahaha..

End result. Happy trying!
