Finding myself in Dove “Serlahkan Dirimu – 14 days challenge”

Several weeks ago I attended an event hosted by Dove. It was a fantastic event and I gained so much from it. Throughout the event, I was reminded to always be confident and always take care of my appearance especially my hair. Because a woman’s confidence and inner beauty shines through when she feels good about her looks and is free from hair problems especially hair fall.

Apparently hair fall has become a top concern for a majority of women and it can make them feel less confident in themselves. In fact, as I was listening to the stories from two women championing a Dove campaign, Suhainah and Shariffah Nadia, I felt so kesian! Poor ladies! They were affected with hair fall so bad they shy away from their husband’s loving gesture of stroking their hair. This is simple because they fear that their hair loss will be discovered by their husbands. One of them said that her hairfall was so bad, there were hair all over the floor of her house! The other felt really bad when her husband commented that her hair had become thinner. Wow.. I am glad I didn’t have to go through that but I am definitely taking pre-cautions with Dove.

Anyway Dove had also launched a great inspiring campaign called “Serlahkan Diri Dalam 14 Hari Dengan Dove”. Obviously I took part in the campaign because I am personally gets motivated with challenges and timelines and once I was on it, I have to say that it was the best ever. Everyday when I log on to Facebook, I just go the app and check out the daily challenge and activities in store for me. I was really fun!

The activities are meant to help women realize their full potential and promote confidence while reassuring women that they can stop hair fall in 14 days with Dove Hair Fall Rescue System¹. All of them were easy yet really fun and add a little bit if new excitement thrill in your daily routine for a little bit.

To join the challenge, all you need to do is go to Dove Facebook page and on the app at the left side of the page:

Let me share a bit about the challenge. All Malaysian women can participate in the campaign by logging on to https://apps.facebook.com/serlahkandirimu/ .

And then for 14 days, you have to complete one mission a day. How to complete the mission? It is really extremely easy. Most of the missions are about taking your own pictures of selfies at your best in your own skin. After this campaign is in line with promoting self-confidence and beautiful hair fall –free mane, right? After you take the pics just upload it into the app. If you don’t have a picture you can write a short caption, it is super easy. After 14 days, a digital video will be created for participants based on their 2 weeks of completed missions

The best thing about the mission is, well it is actually a competition. To win one of the prizes, you need to share your personal digital video on your Facebook page. The more shares achieved, the higher their chances of winning. Prizes worth up to RM20,000 awaits! That’s a lot Okay! Grab the chance!

You can also look at my digital video from the link I provided above. Please share it OK? Hhaaha..
Anyway, these are some of the pics I uploaded as part of the challenge.

Another challenge that I took was to style my hair in a different way. So instead of my regular straight, I curled my hair and quite like outcome. Hence the senyum until telinga. These are 4 out of many photos I uploaded, I you wanna see them do log on to Dove FB okay.

Seriously, thanks Dove for making me take the extra attention to myself at least for the 14 days period. The challenge also make me look back on myself and my life and I come to realization that I (and my family) are actually very blessed. There are a lot for me to be thankful about and all these love and positiveness must be spread to all around…

Thank you Dove and to all my friends, do join the challenge if you want to experience the same thing… have a great weekend people!
