Up until Sunday Aug 24th, I have managed to strike off 3 items from my New Home Wish List. Yay! They are the lil bird house, some scattered cushions and the old school chesterfield sofas.
The bird house was bought in early July but until today no little sparrow or magpie has made it into a home. I guess that’s because the bird house is actually a decorative item for those shabby chic homes. Hehe! It’s too small! I will get another soon.
But don’t you think it’s really cute?
By the way, we have dozens and dozens of birds flocking to our garden every morning and dawn. There are sparrows, magpies, merbuk too! The previous owner of the house made it a routine to feed them with rice grain and we followed his footsteps too. That’s why “beras” is a new word to Miki, before that he called it “makanan bird”. *pengsan*
The cushions were bought at Metrojaya warehouse sale in PICC last week. I have gotten the covers from Bangkok at RM5 each and they are selling in KL for RM25 each!!! Gosh, that thought makes me wanna go shopping in Bangkok again. Best giler! Murah!
It gives me a fine satisfaction having some of the items removed from my wishlish. BUT THE PROBLEM IS, NOW I HAVE MORE THINGS TO ADD TO THE LIST NOW THANKS TO THE FREAKING BURGLARS!!!

A lot of people ask me what did the burglars take? Pains me to list them down so let me just say that no, they didn’t take the TV only, our total lost was amounting up to RM10K! Mengertihh?? Banyak tu ok?? Dah jangan tanya lagi!!!! Aku tampar kang!

so sad to see your home without the huge tv. i was telling my hubby what happened to you. he thinks probably the pencuri knew the renovators? a lot of cases like this nowadays 🙁 glad that no harm has come to your family. btw, i love that shabby chic bird house of yours 😀 maybe you could put some beras there and see if the birds would go in?

so sorry to hear about the break-in. i thought in ur last post u meant TV jatuh and pecah or something like that, duh! i hear so many cases la mcm ni, a friend of mine three weeks ago baru masuk rumah seminggu also kena (area bangi). penat kemas masuk rumah lom abis lg, balik kerja tgk umah 5 x ganda bersepah drpd sblm move-in. berkecai jiwa diorg. yg paling annoying, most of them will probably get away pon, sbb kalo pendatang tanpa permit, mcm mana nak trace pon kan? bulan posa ni doa mustajab diyana, u doa lah agar org tu insaf or mendapat balasan sewajarnya di dunia dan akhirat. smg kita semua dilindungi Allah… amin
