We bought our first pet rabbits during Christmas holidays last year in Malacca. We bought a couple of bunnies, male and female that Miki called Kokades and MinMin. After we moved to our new house in June, MinMin gave birth to 3 super chomel baby bunnies.
When the babies were about a month old, MinMin passed away. Her brokenhearted hubby Kokades ran away from their enclosure and never came back and the poor babies were snatched away by stray cats when their Mummy weren’t around to look after them. Isnt that the saddest thing ever? *tears*
So we bought another two bunnies from Rope Walk, Penang. Once again named Kokades and MinMin. After a few weeks MinMin II passed away for no absolute reason in their cage which was kept in my wet kitchen/laundry room.
Kokades II was left alone so we bought another male that Miki called Itam. During Hari Raya Haji, we bought another two cute young ones, named Monster (by the super Genius Miki, punya comel camtu ko boleh bagi nama Monster) and Ninie.
Two weeks ago, Monster slipped through his cage to play outside on the ground and trapped in the rain. He died! We were very-very sad. Now we are left with 3 rabbits, the adults –Kokades II and Itam, and sekor arnab remaja bernama Ninie. (Aku yang bagi nama Ninie ni kalau Miki mesti dia bagi nama Crocodile ke T-Rex ke… tak sexy langsung nama camtu)
But what I am writing about now is not about surviving bunnies. I wanna tell you about the mystery behind their death!

Here is the chronology:
1) A few days after MinMin died in her cage in our garden, burglars climbed over our fence and fled with shoes and other valuables kept on the porch. I wrote about it HERE.
2) A few days after MinMin II died in her cage in the wet kitchen/laundry room, burglars broke into our house and total lost had amounted approx RM10K. Didn’t specifically write about it but u can get the gist HERE.
3) Last week, while packing our stuff to go for my office’s Family Day trip, we realized that Azman’s shoes and also my pair of 4 years old ADIDAS were missing. Monster had died a few days before.
Can somebody make a conclusion out of this? Why did everytime one of our pet rabbits died, burglars and pencopet kasut would come and steal from us? When the bunnies died outdoor, the buglars just pick up scraps in the garden and when MinMin II died indoor, the broke in into the house. Is it a coincidence?
Could their death be some kind of omen that something bad is going to happen to the house? Or is the death of rabbit brings bad luck (I dont believe in this – syirik!) Should I continue to rear rabbits or not? Phew!

bela iguana ke…tarantul pun ok gak
kak ada petua dari ustaz2 pengamal perubatan ISLAM…bela ikan puyu boleh reflect sihir2 jahat kalau ada org nak hantar ke rumah kita…letak ikan puyu tu kat akuarium di luar rumah atau buat pond kecik pun jadi…mungkin ikan2 tu bertasbih pada ALLAH doakan kesejahteraan tuan rumah

Perhaps they murdered these animals..had to enter the house to murder those in the house..so alang-alang curi sekali la..or..these animals spoke to them masa dia orang masuk, ” Eh ape da ko masuk rumah tuan aku” so they killed them..

hi diyana, i’m sorry if this comes across as harsh but… alah beratnye hati aku nk ckp. Ok… Have u ever thought of yrself a being “targeted”? It can be in any form.Yelah, org kalau hasad ke, jeles ke, dorang bley anta mcm2 kat u. Tapi lau rumah u “dipagar” dgn baik, anasir2 jahat tk boley masok kn? Maybe tu yg terkena kat luar (the bunnies). Animals also hv high instinct n 6th sense. Itu cara halus, cara kasar, if they anta perampok ke, kidnapper ke ishh! Tuhan jauhkan… Thing is benda da pun terjadi, so juz be more wary n alert. Cos we dunno whats behind these, whose behind these or wateva it all is since ders no proof. Tapi i tak taula if u find all these kuno, i myself a bit skeptical. Or else yr house has always been a target 4 burglars since its big n nice with pretty things inside. But IF d burglaries n bunny-deaths r juz coincidence n very bad timing, den y sampai brape kali terjadi? I think u shud set up cctv cos for dis to happen more den once is seriously creepy. My genuine concern is especially for Miki. I love kids n animals so…. Oh n do continue yr rearing of rabbits, i tink it shud b fine. My prayers for u n yr family, keep safe ya. sungguh misteri kes kematian arnab akak ni..tp kan mungkin tu sume petunjuk..so kalau ade lagi arnab mati sila kol pak polis!ahahaa
