Go Baby Go: Stride to Ride Lion by Fisher Price

Can’t believe the weekend is almost over. Anyhow I had a lovely one, on Saturday we went for my monthly maternity check-up at Hospital Azzahrah, Bandar Baru Bangi and we found out the gender of the baby! Yay! No more waiting with anticipation!

Guess what we are going to have another BOY! Just like what I wrote on my FB status – “pengsanlah aku nak layan 3 orang jantan dalam rumah ni! Haha”. Alhamdulillah, although my dreams of buying elaborate doll houses, Barbie and Ken, toy stoves and ovens and more Barbie and Kens have shattered, I am so thankful to Allah that the baby and I am in perfect condition. The little munchkin is very active and forever moving around my womb, during the scan he showed off his arms, long legs, perfect toes and that huge dingdong wow I can’t believe at that age it could be err so big! LOL.
Although no doll house this time, but look at how excited Abang Miki is about this really awesome toy we got for lil Adik. It is a Fisher-Price Stride-To-Ride Lion that’s super comel and cool!

What I liked about this toy was that it could be a walker or a rider. From the packaging, it says that this great Fisher Price product is suitable for children from 9 until 36 months but remembering Miki when he was a baby, I believe this type of toys can be introduced to babies at 7 months old already.

The Stride-To-Ride Lion is so cute even 4 year old Miki wan’t to play with it! Sorry Miki, look at your legs they are too long, you have to walk around on your knees to push it along! LOL

To train your baby to walk, the Stride-To-Ride Lion can help the baby to steady himself and walk all over the house. It is sturdy enough for him to pull himself up on it without falling over. Every time the toy is pushed it will sing a few songs which can be annoying to parents but oh so interesting to the baby cause it seems to be like some kind of reward to him. Cute right? Fret not, there’s a button at the back for switching on and off the music. It could really boost the baby’s confidence in walking while enhancing his motor skills.

If baby touches the Lion’s nose, more music will be played! And check out the Lion’s mane… it is made of cloth instead of smooth plastic to enhance baby’s sense of touch, not to mention it is very colorful to attract baby’s attention.

Once baby gets older, this fantastic toy can be easily transformed into a ride! Miki as usual pantang dapat anything at all, he was really enjoying Stride-To-Ride Lion, riding it super fast from my dining room all the way to kitchen. Man! I can’t imagine having Miki and another lil boy in the house. They will tear down the roof I am telling you! 🙂 It is gonna be really meriah… I can’t wait!

Just like other great Fisher-Price products, this toy comes is very few parts that are really easy to assemble. See below, Miki ye ye je baca manual nak pasangkan untuk Adik!

Smart Miki pasangkan the wheels for the Lion.

Miki likes the Lion so much he said, “Best la toy Adik ni, masa Miki baby Miki ada tak?”

Oh no… I hope Miki is not going to be jealous of Adik and fight for his toys but anyhow when we told him that we he was a baby he had so much more great toys for example  the Fisher Price Kick and Whirl Carnival, he understood and smiled that broad proud big brother smile.

There is a new excitement for Azman and I, I call it adjusting to be parents of two. I thank God for all his blessing, and praying for everything to be smooth sailing!Insya-Allah!

And for you all with babies yet to learn how to walk, why not get him this super cute Lion, maybe your baby will start to walk even faster!
